Mention "Twister" to my 8yo ds and you'll see flames in his eyes. He *hates* that attraction. I have to admit, it was my biggest disappointment too. It would have been MUCH better had it been more real-more powerful wind, more rain, some fog...maybe the stands could rumble and shake...I don't know, but for the line and that awful preshow I was hoping for something a little better.
(for anyone who's never been on twister, when you get to the main stage area, stay right so you can be in the front. Be as close to the front as possible. It's easier to get into the scene when you're closer and not looking over other people's heads.)
Now, Earthquake is cheesy, but (without ruining it) that water effects are pretty cool.
Also, I was pretty entertained by Poseiden (as was my son and my 2 sisters-age 18 and 22). Also pretty cool water effects. Both times we went there was no line either, so that was great.
