Let me just start by saying I loved the movie, we play the DVD game all the time and I even put the CD on in the car when the kids aren't necessarily with me... but I was really disappointed in the show yesterday. I think the "showcases" by the 3 leads were long and obviously just promotion for their new albums. It was like a 2 hour Disney Channel commercial! The kids had talent, but It felt more like a thrown together talent show than a real production for $75.00 a sesat. Anyone else?

I am really nervous now about our concert on January 21. Santa brought the tickets. We only got 2 so we could be on the floor close to stage. DD is the same, DVD game, movie, and such. I am worried now. I will let you know after the concert. Thanks for the heads up. Where did you see your concert?

There was a review of this show in the Washington Post the other day, which said pretty much this same thing.

Different opinion here! We loved the concert (saw it in Washington, D.C.) My girls (ages 7 and 9) enjoyed ALL of it, including the showcases, and afterall, we went for THEM, not us adults. Sorry you didn't enjoy yourself.

Maybe buying one of the new cd's might help, so the kids learn the music.
