Disposable Cameras

Can anybody tell me whether disposable cameras can go into your suitcase or do they need to go as hand luggage?

I have a few waterproof ones to take on holiday, will the film be affected by x-raying our cases or not

BD (before digital) I always put my film in hand luggage simply because the xray levels are lower than those for cases as I understand it.

The higher the ASA film the more likely to be damaged but I doubt you'll have more than ISA 400, more likely 100 for Florida so it should be OK

You can always ask for it to be hand inspected at security as there are those who swear that even the hand luggage screening can cause a foggy effect.

Why don't you get them developed over there and ask for the images to be put onto a CD? xx

Hand luggage on the way out and get developed while you are out there sounds the best plan to me.
