Disneyworld in Jan/Feb.?

I have planned our trip for Feb. 2-9, 2008. I am hoping the crowds are really low. I am also hoping that they have the parks decorated with Valentine stuff. I can't wait!!

When we were there for Valentine's Day they had next to nothing going on for Valentine's Day. Some of the shops had a few items. Pleasure island had a few things going on but not much else. We did however eat Valentine's dinner at Coral Reef and Mickey Mouse made an appearance

We are going down the week after Presidents day week and hope the crowds are back to normal for this time of year. Never have gone at this time before..smjj

Same here... the last week of Feb! It's spring break for the University of Michigan, but I think for very few other schools.

We went in Jan 2005. I found that we saved a lot on waters and cokes... just didn't need them. I did have to buy a hooded sweatshirt, I had 3 shirts on. I didn't bring enough clothes. We are from the south and it was cold to me. Crowds were very low, we probably didn't FP anything. That was nice.

We were there the first of February last year. The first 4 days were cool with the evening of the Pirate Princess party requiring jackets, gloves and a hat! I think it was the coldest night Central Florida saw last year! By the 5th day we were able to put on shorts for the day, but the evenings were still cool. Being in a 1 bdrm with a washer/dryer was a must because I ended up doing laundry nearly every day (washing jeans & sweatshirts). However, having been in September many times, I'd take the cool weather any day. The kids weren't wiped out and complaining about the heat. Even my then 5 year old didn't need a stroller except for one day at AK. We did run into an international dance competition the first part of the week and a cheerleading competition the last part of the week. Check out those events because they definitely made a difference in crowds on the weekend and some evenings. Here's hoping for really great weather!
