Disneystore.com ?

Has anyone purchased anything today on disneystore.com and used the promo code THANKS? The code says that it includes Disney Park Merchandise, but when I put vinylmation in my cart it does not take of the discount. Is there something that I am missing? I can't find where vinylmation is exempted.

The website will not even let me add anything to my cart - I click Add to Cart and it just comes up "cart is empty'. It took forever for the site to load as well - so I wonder if they are having issues with the site???

I was also having problems adding to my cart. It was showing that not everything was going in the cart, but when you hit checkout it is all there. I am going to go ahead and order the items that I have so that I can use the promotion and I am going to call them tomorrow to see if they will give me the discount on the vinylmation.

I just placed an order that was supposed to be for 236. but when it brought up the receipt, it came to 280!!

I'd wait to order until tomorrow when the site seems to be more stable.

It said I ordered 2 of the D&B wristlets when I only ordered one. Do you think they'll be able to take it off or am I going to have issues with it?

What was happening to me was when I was adding to the cart it was not showing so I would add it again. Then when I went to checkout I would have 3 or 4 of an item. I just adjusted it in the cart before I checked out.

I am certainly going to call them tomorrow. I bet they will be getting a lot of phone calls !!!

I made my purchase this morning, I had some Disney Park Merchandise in my cart and did not have any problem. It was a little slow, but everything worked out.

Made a purchase tonight and the code did not work. I didn't see it on the checkout page, so I went back and it was already filled in. I retyped the code (even though it wouldn't let me delete the one that was already there and retype -- if that makes any sense). Went through the whole checkout process and it didn't take the 20% off. Of course I tried to call but they were closed for the holiday. I will be calling tomorrow.

The small print says the "Thanks" promo excludes Pins, Art, & Collectibles, which is the category Vinylmation falls into. Sooo no discount there

In my case I ordered a sweatshirt and 2 ornaments.

Had problems all day on Thanksgiving and finally gave up. They lost a sale here. We have had issues in the past with their website and obviously they have not fixed them.

I can get them in my cart and get the discount. I can't, however, check out. I've tried twice and it gives me an error. Scary that it's after the part where you put in your CC#. I was hoping if I waited till late here on the West Coast, I wouldn't have problems.

I had the same issue..at one point I had three Dooney and Burke wristlets in the cart after it wouldn't get added at all I finally got things in order, but took out some Christmas cards because the 20% didn't come off, and then it said I'd get free shipping, but shipping and handling came to $14.00 but it only took off $10.00, so don't know what that's about. Their site really had issues yesterday..I'm thinking it was all the shoppers! Overall, really great deals.

Just got off the phone with Disneystore.com and was on hold for 30 minutes!! However, they sent me a $10 credit towards the shipping they charged me when I was supposed to get free shipping!!

So I guess more shopping is in my future!!!

I placed an order this morning after speaking to somebody about adding multiple giftcards. She said I could call back after placing the order, but I have been on hold for 4 hours!!! I have $200 in giftcards and my order was $283...I want them posted or the order cancelled. After several attempts on the laptop at work at ordering I couldn't get through to the cart. Finally I added all the stuff I needed then checked out on my iPhone. Now the site is down and I am still on hold.
