Disneyshopping polo shirts

I posted this question on the Budget board, but it didn't get any responses. I thought it might do better here. I am looking to buy the personalized polo shirts from disneyshopping.com, but I am not sure how the sizes run. I need a kid size for ds8 (normally a size 10-12) and an adult size for ds14 (normally an adult large). Does anyone know if these polos are true to size? Thanks!

Yes they are true to size. We have these and love them. They are very nice quality. Plus when you wear them at WDW the CM's may call you buy name. I am pretty cautious of where ds where's his shirt around home though. He's only four so I don't let him wear it to preschool. Only on days when we're with him the whole time.

They are true to size and are a very high quality item. Bought my daughter some back in early spring and they still look new after many wears. I was really surprised at the quality embroidering. A must buy and well worth the money.

Now I am not sure what size to get ds8! He falls between a M and a L. I buy him 10/12 t-shirts - which would be a large. The size chart on the website shows his weight (72lbs.) being a L, but his height (53") being a M. I don't want the shirt to be tight, but I don't want it to be down to his knees either! Any advice?

I think I saw this question posted recently, and someone specifically said the boys sizes ran very small. I ordered the polos for the family last year (before the personalized ones, but I'm guessing they're the same), and the largest size which was meant for my 11 year old fit my 8 year old! So, I'm guessing the boys large would fit your DS. I tried an adult small for my 11 year old, but it was huge! The gap between the boys large and the men's small was enormous - probably the equivalent of 4 sizes missing there. So, we were unable to get family matching polos.

My family got these shirts this summer.

My DS9 wears a Children's Place size Large shirt.
I ordered him an adult Small of the Disneyshopping.com polo. It is BIG!
He was able to wear it...but it hangs long.

I ordered my DH an Adult XXL & should've got an XL...it's BIG, but wearable.
He's about 6'1" or 6'2" & weighs about 200lbs.

I finally placed the order! I got DS(8) the Large. I figured it would be better for it to be too big than too small. Thank you all for the advice!
