Disneysea port

as the oriental land company is aqquring a wish class, why dont they make their own port everglades/port canaveral by the disneysea resort? it wouldnt be too jarring as it would be right next to the ss columbia, and i think it would be a nice touch of instead of arriving at the port of tokyo you arrive straight into disneyland. would probably need to move the road currently there though, and maybe change some of the sightlines a bit but still could be nice.

Because that's not how it works. There are designated areas where ports can be built, maritime traffic lanes, government regulations, etc. that all need to be contended with. Disney/OLC can't just do whatever they please just because they're basing a ship out of the same city in which they have a park.

The height would also be an issue, the Wish class cruise ship is substantially bigger than the SS Columbia. The Wish class ship is listed as 67 meters tall, that's 9m taller than the tower of terror sat right next door. Such a large ship would dominate the skyline completely. Couldn't see that being a desire for the OLC.
