Has anyone been on any of these tours? We are taking 35 4th graders on Friday morning and wanted to see if there are any tips out there! Can't wait to see a totally different side to DCA!!!!

Wow! That's a long trip. The longest field trip my kids have been on is SF or Angel Island.

Well their families have to go with them...we just have them for the 3 hour tour!!! Can't wait!

Wow! You're really lucky. When my son was in grade school in southern Santa Clara county, we couldn't even get permission to come up your way and see the state capitol. Did you know that Knott's also has a California history program as well? Last month we took the Backstage Magic Tour at Walt Disney World. It was great, so I'm sure whatever they have planned for you will be nice. We were able to walk the tunnels under Main Street.

Well, we have the week off from school...so "technically" it is not school related, but it is....so yup..that is right folks, I get to write off my trip! NICE! The program is all in DCA, so we will see...it ends with the whole group riding Soarin!! YAHOO!

They are cool programs. A friend and her daughter got to go on the science one. They teach in the context of the Park. For example, discussing speed, velocity, gravity, etc... in reference to riding California Screamin'. And then they ride.
