disney's yatchsman steakhouse

i just wanted to post that i had an absolutely wonderful experience dining at the yatchsman steakhouse.

dh and i went on saturday night and the service and food were WONDERFUL!!

DH got the filet, i got some sqaushed stuffed tortellini with a sauce made of truffles, carrots, artichoke hearts etc (turned out it was the veggie option) that was DELICIOUS!!!

for appetizers we had the salad (delish) and the lobster bisque!!! i think i would have slapped someone one it was so yummy!!!!

i am allergic to onions - and chef jeffrey came out and had everything made special. dave was our server and he was super sweet and accomodating as well.

oh yea - icicing on the cake....we saw the epcot fireworks from our table!

the yachtsman is one of my favorite restaurants in disney...if you enjoy a steakhouse i would also recommend shula's over at the dolphin...also a very good restaurant

I'm wondering if what the OP saw was part of Fantasmic at the Studios? I've eaten at the Yachtsman several times & am wondering if any of the windows face World Showcase? I guess maybe parts of it. ??

We loved Yachtsman's when we went in September, so much that when I was picking out signature restaurants for our upcoming trip, my DH asked if we could go back....how could I say no . I agree with the Lobster Bisque, that was soooooo good, I can't wait to have it again
