Most people will say to take the bus. Driving to MK means you park at the TTC and take a ferry or monorail from there. We are driving down to Florida this trip and will have a car. Trying to decide if we should drive to MK from the yc or deal with the buses will be there the beginning of may any experience or thoughts appreciated.
Hello, we are staying at the Yacht Club for the first time and booked a standard view. We requested the 1 queen + pull out couch + twin sleeper chair layout.
Does anyone know where these rooms are or have pictures of them? I cannot find one anywhere.

thanks,
to this thread!
When is your trip?
I could be wrong but I'm not sure that the layout you are looking for exists at the Yacht Club.
I don't think there are any single queen bed rooms. There are a limited number of king bed rooms, some may have a day bed. I think a couple of the king rooms have sleeper chairs, but I don't know if those specifically have a day bed as well.
What do you need for sleeping surfaces? Would 2 Queens and a daybed work for your group?
ETA:
I looked through the Yacht Club Room Views thread- there was a Club Level, Water View Room that meets your description but rooms with this layout are very rare. There is a dividing curtain, and again, we haven't seen reports of many of these rooms at /URL]
We had a standard view club level summer 2019 and we had two queens and daybed, so that is a possible layout as well.Okay so I was curious about whether rooms at Yacht Club have sleep chairs (and I'm procrastinating). I looked at the official Disney website. I tried booking Yacht Club and it showed this:

- 2 Queen Beds or
- 2 Queen Beds and 1 Day Bed or
- 1 Queen Bed and 1 Twin-Size Sleeper Chair and 1 Day Bed or
- 1 King Bed or
- 1 King Bed and 1 Day Bed
garden or woods view room (sleeps up to 5 adults):

I have no idea how many rooms there are in each configuration, or where in the hotel they have rooms of each configuration (in case that was the next question).

Unless it has changed recently, BC room 1523 (water view - quiet pool) has the 1 queen, 1 day bed and 1 sleeper chair configuration with the dividing curtain AND it connected to another room. We have stayed in that room quite a few times--it was a favorite.![]()
This is the room view from room 1523, as shown on Touring Plans.
It sure is!
From your reply, I can tell that you wish you were there right now!
The boats start running one hour before park opening. We are here now and having a FABULOUS time.
Question for my children’s tired feet- is there a way besides walking to get to HS before rope drop? I can’t find what time the boats start running and I’m pretty sure it’s not early enough.
