Finally sorted out my notes on the RO BB deal for next year - no flyer in the room but I did manage to call back and get the dates. 2017 RO dates are as follows:

Thanks for posting the dates of the RO BB. I see that Disney once again is excluding weekends from the early BB dates. Fortunately, I was able to get a 35% discount with our passholder discount for our March trip at WL. The December BB dates don't work for us, either.

I was disappointed in our long time favorite Raglan Road last night - both food & entertainment.

We were going to try Raglan Road for the first time in March. I'm sorry to hear that it wasn't good. Was it the food?

Yes. My adult DS & I were both disappointed in the food. I had the Seriious Sirloin & it just wasn't good. Neither DH nor I liked, or ate, the mashed potatoes although he liked the " Lambo". DS had the "it's not your bleedin Chowder" and he didn't like that either. This has been a must do for us for years. But we all agreed we are going to skip it next time
We were also disappointed in the band. We agreed they were the worst we have seen & we have been going since heir soft opening.

Your room number 5152 was just two doors down and four floors up from our YC room 1148. Our room had the same armchair and Ottoman. Your picture makes the lake view look a little closer than it really was. But the distance to the main elevator made it a great location.

*panic* Just got a call from our TA that they were notified by Disney that BC will be under renovations (Feb) and people with reservations can upgrade to Poly or GF. We're booked on rented points, so I doubt it's an option for us, but my ILs are booked through the TA and got this option. Anyone have any info?

I got the same message from my TA so I came here to look for information. I was also offered the Poly or the GF. However, I am running the Princess Half Marathon and wanted to stay at the Beach Club for proximity to Epcot. I'm not sure what to do at this point.

I booked an agency group rate. I wonder if this is being offered to those folks. No idea.

We got the same email so I dont think it is a mix up, my TA messaged me offering upgrade to GF. I am going to take it but I havent gotten the confirmation back yet. I think it's probably YC reno and redistributing rooms is my guess? I hope it works, I love BC but the GF for the same rate would be pretty sweet. Plus i have YC in december still booked

I think it will take the best part of the year. They seem to work from top to bottom, so requesting an Upper Level room might help

Have not seen a timeline. The Beach Club room renovations spanned January 2015 to August 2015. The completion date for the Yacht Club room refurb will depend on whether they actually start on time and the scope of the work.

You can always add "Renovated room, if possible" as a reservation request.

As soon as I hear any definitive info, I will post it here and on Page 1.

I appreciated all of the good thoughts while I was away last week!

On our past CL stays, we have been lucky, our rooms was ready when we arrived. We are using the magical luggage delivery (although it has been so long I almost forgot to put on the yellow tags).

If we have carryons we need to store, is there a place on the 5th floor or do we turn them in to Bell Services?

We had to bring our bags to Bell Services after checking in on the 5th floor. We may have been able to go directly to the parks before checking in, but I wanted to pay off our room balance with gift cards instead of having it charged to our credit card, so we did that upon arrival.

We were greeted by name. It was around 11 am when we arrived and the club lounge was closed for restocking. We were offered a water or a soft drink, not the welcome cocktail- it was around 11 am, BUT it was 5 O'clock somewhere. (If we really wanted the drink and had asked, I'm sure they would have brought one to us)

The weather during our trip was AWESOME!!! Warm, but not face-of-the-sun hot like our typical summer trips.

It poured on our arrival day, but only while we were inside. It started sprinkling while we were in the queue for Haunted Mansion and then had stopped by the time our ride was over.

Can someone explain the current bus stop status at Beach Club? We have a member of our party that cannot walk long distances. We had no problem with the walk to its original location from the villas, but how far is it from the villas now?

ETA: We are arriving this Saturday (the 22nd).

Well, the wait was closer to 20 than the stated 30, but the cast member was quite helpful! We'll be there 5/12-5/20 in a Standard View Club Level!

Returned 10/13 from WL, on10/15 I was able to book a studio at BC for next May, I am so excited. Always wanted to stay at BC, we own at BLT, and this was the first time I could get the dates I wanted at 7 months!!
