Disney's YACHT & BEACH CLUB RESORTS Information & Questions

You can certainly drive to the front and have bell services unload and store your luggage upon arrival and then park. If you prefer to determine if your room is ready, you can park and leave your luggage in the car. That allows you the option of schlepping your own luggage to your room rather than having bell services handle it. Totally your decision.

Upon arrival at the entrance, you will be asked for your name to verify your reservation and if you choose to park, simply ask for direction from the guard at the gate. If you choose to go the bell services route, pull to the Porte Cochere and allow the attendants to unload and store your belongings. If YC is on top of the ball, you should be greeted at the front door by someone for CL to take you up and check you in. If not, go to the front desk and you will be directed from there.

Hopefully you will receive your "room ready" message prior to your arrival.

One final note, you will be charged for parking--I don't think CL now includes waiver of parking fees, but I could be wrong on that one. We haven't driven to Disney although we had a rental car a few times and that was pre-parking fees.
Thanks so much!!! This is extremely helpful 😊

Can we pull up to the hotel and unload and then go park? Do they just automatically hold your bags for you while you check in or can we see if our room is ready before they store the bags? Does someone have to wait with the bags while others park?
As the previous poster said, you would pull up to the port cochere and the CM will unload your luggage onto a baggage cart. If the room is not ready then they will store your luggage and give you the luggage receipt. Your passengers can wait at the resort while the driver parks the car. It is a relatively small lot so it will only take a couple minutes to park the car. Then, if the room is ready, the CM will take the luggage up to the room. Another CM should escort you up to the CL lounge. :)

Thank you!!

Frequent YC CL guest here. Just wanted to add, my experiences with CL check-in have varied at YC. Occasionally there will be someone out front looking for you and will escort you up to the lounge. Sometimes/oftentimes, no one is around and I've had to get in the regular check-in line. I recommend keeping an eye out for any CM at the entrance/in the lobby with an ipad/electronic device or a manager looking type - tell them you are checking in CL, they will 'usually' escort you upstairs.

It's always been a bit of a YMMV situation for us.

Enjoy CL - can't wait to hear how things are upon reopening.

The only place I saw it posted was by Crescent Lake. Sorry for the poor quality picture but the sun was an issue. I also got the lighthouse in the background for special effects! Got down here yesterday amid the travel woes. Weather is perfect. Still a little busy crowdwise, but think that’s due to the New Years holiday carryover and marathon weekend.

I tried zooming in to see the details, but I can't see them :(

Can’t add anymore to that. That was a perfect answer. You can valet the car, it cost more than regular parking per day or just park in the regular lot. Of course with valet you can call down and the CM’s will get your car. However you won’t have your keys, they will, or just park yourselves. I have done both throughout the years, I would recommend parking yourself, it’s not far and then lock your keys in the room safe.

Thanks! I’ll be sure to update with CL pics when we get there 😊

Are those pool hours posted in that activities calendar the same as the past? Seems later than usual. We are going in feb and I remember from years past it closed fairly early.

I did a deep dive in the search files for current info on pack n play and crib options but didn't come up with much recently. We are at Beach Club and I inquired at the front desk if a crib would be an option (our toddler is getting too tall for a pack n play!) and they have both! So, he is sleeping comfortably in a crib this trip.

We stay on property a lot and I'd never thought to ask before but will be from now on, esp at deluxe hotels. I always just assumed we had to stick with a pack n play.

So if you're searching for info on crib availability, I can confirm that Beach Club has them.

We got a crib when we stayed at WL. I thought all resorts had had them 😂

FWIW, from what I’ve read over the years there is a finite supply of cribs - so it is possible for them to run out and the only option would be a pack n play. Just something to keep in mind.

Sorry (not sorry) that I have not posted for awhile.

My sons and I just returned from a week in Costa Rica. We had a fantastic time despite the circumstances. Mark and I originally booked this trip in October 2019 for the boys' spring breaks in March 2020. We postponed that trip the day before we were supposed to leave to March 2021. Sadly, conditions were not ready for us to travel, so the trip was rescheduled for Dec 30-Jan 6.

Once again, I am grateful for all of our friends here who continue to post helpful information!

:thanks:

Super excited! Just swapped out our CS reservation for BC January 27 - 31. LOVE trying a new resort and looking forward to easy EPCOT access for the Festival of the Arts!! :cool1:

:welcome:

I'll add you to the Be Our Guest list we keep on Page 1, Post 15.

:goodvibes

We have a stay coming up June 1-3. We actually have two resorts this time. We have a 2 bedroom at Copper Creek from Memorial day weekend until June 7. We have a 2 bedroom booked at Beach Club Villas. My son turns 21, so we wanted to have time near Epcot so he can try drinks there without worrying about getting back to Copper Creek. I cannot wait for Stormalong Bay!!!!

:welcome: back!

I'll add you to the list.

:cool2:

Has anyone heard when the DVC villa renovations are going to begin at Beach Club? We are debating where to stay in August and I would love a fresh room at Beach Club! Our other options are Riviera or Grand Floridian but SAB is pulling me towards BC. Thanks!!

:welcome:

Thanks for the heads up on this info.

Let us know if you end up booking a stay here.

:thumbsup2

I'll add you to the list.

For the past several months the closing time has remained the same, later than than in previous years.
