:bounce: MY FAMILY AND I ARE GOING TO STAY AT THE WILDERNESS LODGE THIS JUNE, DOES ANY ONE HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS FOR A GREAT EXPERIENCE WITH A 4, AND 6 YEAR OLD

Just stayed in October with our 4 and 6 yr olds.

Go over to FW for the campfire and movie with Chip and Dale.

Try and catch the water parade at least once.

We took a bus over to TTC and took the monorail tour through the resorts and looked around.

They should enjoy the restaurants at WL-Our kids loved to pick out their own snacks in the snack bar.

Try the hidden Mickey tour-ask at the front desk.

Ask when you check in if you can be flag family.

All the usual stuff, swimming, the slide is nice, they have a little tiny beach which is nice.

Our kids seemed to enjoy just walking around the courtyard-it's rather nice with the stream and the rocks, etc.

As vbfamily stated, the campfire is cool, just watch for bugs. I would also request bunkbeds, our DD(4) loved sleeping in the top bunk.

Take the WL tour with Ranger Stan.

Ask at the front desk when you check in to be the Flag Family one day. You get to climb to the top of the lodge roof and help raise the flags. It's an incredible view! (But it's also early -- *YAWN*)

Took my DD(4) & DNephew(6) this past August. They loved the WL. They were particularly impressed with the courtyard (read POOL - they always wanted to swim!! :) )and lobby . My DN thought the slide was the greatest thing. He loved watching the Geyser.

Our lunch at Whispering Canyon was fun. Both kids enjoyed the Lincoln Logs in the restaurant lobby. The boat trip from WL to FW & Magic Kingdom is a nice ride too. Both kids enjoyed that. They even enjoyed hanging out in the Lobby.

We were also Flag Family - was that an awesome experience. :Pinkbounc Everyone gets to raise different flags and you get wonderful pictures. You can see the courtyard and all below from the roof (my DD thought the pictures she took from here were 'COOL' )

Oooooooooh! Don't forget to ask to sit in the front of the monorail. I think DH loved this more than the kids though

They quickly got hooked on the pin trading (check for some discounted pins at the local Disney Store before you leave!) and the pressed penny machines that are all over the resorts and parks. Ask for a list of the pressed penny machine locations at the guest services desk. That way you'll know where to lead them to the pennies!! (and how much change to bring ;) ) We brought rolls of pennies and quarters from home.

Those are just the highlights. Have fun - I'm sure your kids will enjoy the trip!!!
