Hi everybody!

We just booked our very first stay at Wilderness Lodge. April 2023 (room only opened up today) and a courtyard view!!!

Very excited to stay here. See you around here throughout the next year!

So as far as transportation, I know bus/boat to MK and buses to the rest of the parks.

But if we weren't in a hurry to get to Epcot, we could take the boat to MK if we want and take the monorail to the TTC then to Epcot? Or even better, if boats to CR start by 2023, we can boat to CR?

And also, we can boat to MK (or CR) and either monorail or even walk to the monorail resorts to eat/drink!

Hi - if anyone is at Wilderness Lodge this weekend, could you please let me know about the gym situation? Maybe take a picture? We are curious about what equipment they have and don't know what that looks like with COVID.

I f the resort boats are running in 2023 then the best way to get to Epcot via monorail is to boat the CR. This does take a lot longer, though.

You can take the boat to MK and walk to all three monorail resorts from the MK boat dock.

We requested a room closer to the lobby, but got one a little farther away. It was fine though we didn’t mind.
Our room was 6051. I wish I knew how to get my photos upright .

I’m not really sure. Some are good views and some aren’t.I requested a room close to the lobby because I thought it would look straight out to the lake. I didn’t get the room I requested but kind of off to the side. I went to touring plans room finder and checked out the views. Only thing is I think Touring Plans do not have the right room numbers listed. The reason is I went back into Touring Plans to find the room we had gotten, room 6051 and I couldn’t find it.

we were at WL re 6 weeks ago. More than half of the gym equipment were out of commission.

I did it… I decided on WL for our next trip in October 2022! Last night I formally made the switch from Yacht Club CL and We are now confirmed for 2 rooms at WL CL. It saved me $4,000 not staying at 4 seasons and $1,000 from switching from Yacht Club. Our trip is very short (just staying a few nights prior to a cruise) but For a 3 night stay, I think it will be fine not being in the Epcot area (as we won’t have park hoppers unless my sons decide to add it last minute when there) We have chosen to do DHS and MK as our 2 parks, so having the boat from WL will
Make MK easy. We will just put up with busses for DHS I couldn’t stay at a Disney hotel and not dip my feet in a park! (Which was my original plan, lolol) Disney Fun was calling too loudly!
The deciding factor for the resort along with saving money was the beautiful newly renovated rooms at WL and every amazing reviews I read of Old Faithful Club. It has been said it’s one of the best Club Level experiences on-site, so I’m very excited to try it!

Close to lobby will not necessarily give you a good view. The rooms that overlook the lobby are above Whispering Canyon café. Your view will be mostly trees and the CM parking lot. These rooms are nature view rooms. If you want a nice view then ask for a nice view on your room request. That's what I do.
