The prices seem comparable to Walmart and other grocery stores. They don't seem to have any regular dairy products (only organic) or produce. I'm comparing prices with Walmart on their two-day delivery and right now, it looks like Walmart may be cheaper. But, Amazon Now would be great if you ran out of things during the trip and needed to restock.

We actually used both Prime Now and Garden Grocer (so we could get everything we needed) but we had a full kitchen in the 1 bedroom so we had lots of space.

When staying at POFQ in the past, I've had really good luck with faxing in room request info and getting my requests met. Has anyone done this at Wilderness Lodge? I know Touring Plans has their fax thing, but I honestly don't want to be that specific in requesting certain rooms.

So anyone fax directly to WL? Did it work? And the number I found is 407-824-3232--is that correct?

POR and POFQ are the only resorts that read all faxed requests. Your best bet is to call the main reservation line and add any requests to your reservation.

we haven't done the TP fax at WL yet, but we've had great luck with it at other resorts (Poly, CBR, YC). You can delete the specific rooms and just free form write what sort of location you're looking for.

We were waiting for the RO discount to come out for WL so I've been stalking dec 8-14...all rooms were available aside from CL, until yesterday when CYV disappeared ... Now, overnight, it's totally booked. Glitch?

I'm thinking maybe so. I've been checking out availability for the dates of my trip in just a couple weeks. There's been lots of availability at all levels (except club) until yesterday. Now everything's booked full??

No call 407-824-3200 is the number to call. You must be within your 10 day window of arrival.

Actually you can make room requests any time from the day you book up until 4-5 days out.

Yes you can make room requests online and with your TA, but to call this number and make specific requests your arrival date must be within 10 days. I was told on multiple occasions, but if you don't believe me call the number for yourself.

Has anyone stayed at the villas recently with the construction? We stayed in the lodge in June & nothing bothered us, but I can get a good AP rate the end of October & am wondering if it's worth it?

We were there mid-July and only heard noise if we were walking between buildings or at the pool. It did not bother us at all. We did not use the parking lot, so can't say if that is a hassle or not, but in general, the construction did not bother us during our stay.
