Hi

As part of our 14 ultimate disney pass we get access to the Wide World of Sport, but it is something we have never done.

Has anyone else - what do you get, can we use it for ball games or just practice sessions

Thanks

Nettie

It's all a bit vague, Nettie. The official website states that "premium and special events may require an additional charge". I think the only way to know for sure is to look at the individual events scheduled during your stay.

I'm also interested to know if anyone's been and what it's like.

In all the times we've been to WDW, we've never given Wide World of Sport a second thought even though it's included in the ultimate tickets. Considering I'm so obsessed with all things Disney and seeing absolutely everything while I'm there, this seems a little strange. :confused3

Or perhaps it's just down to my lack of interest in all things sport related:laughing:

we've only been there io pick up packages for sporting events, so don't know what is included with your ticket; but there is a great cafe (Disney's all Star Cafe) there.

I went there once to watch the Orlando Rays baseball team play (they no longer play there).

The Atlanta Braves also hold the spring training games at WWS and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers American Football team also train there pre-season.
You may need to pay extra to see these teams though.

Apart from going to see an specificat event there is not that much at WWS, just a sports bar (a little like ESPN on the boardwalk).
