Okay, I signed DD-6 and me up for the Princess (expensive) tea in December. I figure it'll be busy near xmas, so wanted to do other non park stuff.

So, now that I've signed up... any tips or ideas to make this even more fun. I was thinking of getting hats and gloves for us, to dress up...

Ideas, ladies.

Also, review of those who went would be appreciated.

I'm thinking of signing up hubby for the segway tour while we do this? Disney tea is at GF 10-12, and we're staying at BCV, so will this work?

There is a Segway Tour that begins at 9:30 a.m. and ends at approximately 11:30 a.m.

Hope this helps.

I took DD to this in July. She loved it. It is very expensive, but all in all I thought it was worth doing it once. Most of the kids were dressed as princesses. They receive a tiara and a bracelet as well as a doll dressed in Sleeping Beauty's costume. The storyteller- Rose Petal welcomes each child to the tea and then each group is seated. We sat at a table for 2. My DD was mesmerized by Rose Petal and the musician. Rose petal tells several stories during the course of the tea. Both Rose Petal and the musician come to each table. Tea is served. Special Magical apple orchard tea for the kids and regular tea for the adults. They teach the kids how to stir the tea and there are sugar cubes with silver tongs. There may be 20 or so tables. It is very intimate. Food is served, I found it was plenty for lunch. The kids got PBJ cut into hearts and grapes. The adults got several different salad sandwiches and grapes. After the food all the kids are gathered and Sleeping Beauty enters. She leads them in a parade and then all return to seats. A princess cake is served and Sleeping Beauty comes to each table with a rose for each child, She also signs autographs and poses for pictures. After the tea go to the gift shop to receive certificate and scrapbook pages.
