Has anyone stayed here? Is it worth it? What is so special about it? Anything info you an gove me would be GREAT thanks. I just got a Disney visa code rate and was thinking of staying there at least one night? :confused3

I have a disney visa and did not get any notice of any rate at vero beach. Does the disney visa rate apply to everyone or only those who were notified? What are the rates and dates?
thank you
Actually, I have a disney visa and never get any info about anything!

You have to use your Visa card and must book before May 15 2005 the rate is 139 per night for studio room. The code is BEK I hope that is OK to post on here. (If not I am sorry)
Hope that helps.

You have to book before may 15 but do you have to go before a certain date? I am looking at July.
Thank you.

You'll get a lot more answers if you try this question on the DVC board.

Disney's Vero Beach resort is part of the DVC resorts and there are many people on the DVC boards, including me, who have stayed there. Vero beach is a really nice beach resort, the CM seem to work extra hard to provide Disney magic and levels of service because they are away from WDW. It has an excellent pool area with slide, it's right on the beach, has a couple of very good restaurants (although a little more expensive than similar in the area). They offer a number of activities and kids programs. It's a great place to spend a couple of relaxing days after a hectic stay at WDW in the parks. It takes about 3 hours to drive from WDW to Vero, generally I would do a 2 or 3 night stay there. Leave WDW early and get to Vero by about midday, precheck in and get myself to the pool or beach until the room is ready.

I would rate the quality of the resort as certainly higher than a WDW moderate resort, maybe not quite to the standard of the Y+B club or GF, but pretty close to most of the delux WDW resorts.

DVB is a fabulous place to unwind, away from the parks! Since stumbling across this resort 6 years ago, we have stayed here each summer. We love visiting this park AFTER Universal Studios/IOA and BEFORE WDW. There are too many positives about this resort, and the location in general, to even list. I agree with everything Vernon posted. :goodvibes We enjoy the Indian River Mall, the shops downtown, the Dodgers, the people & general area of VERO. :sunny: If we had to choose only one destination, between all the locations we visit in Florida, we would choose DVB...hands~down. :cloud9:
