Has anyone used Disney for the Trash the Dress?

If so what all did you get to do and take pictures doing in the water parks?
Did you think it was worth it?

Thanks!

I know that David and Vicki Arndt do a lot of TTD sessions at the beach/disney/where ever you can think of. We had our engagement pictures with them in April and you can go to my PJ to see them. They are the best people to work with and highly recommened here on the DISboards:goodvibes If you have any other questions pI'll be happy to help.

I think that if you do it inside the disney water parks you must have a disney photographer do it along with paying for the lifeguard.

I had a TTD session scheduled with Disney, but for the same pool, I ended up finding an outside photographer (David and Vicki) for less than half the price, and absolutely loved my pictures.

I really think the only way to consider having DPS is if you want it in a water park, but they have so many restrictions on what you can do there that it doesn't seem worth it.

Karen, your TTD pictures are the best I've ever seen. They are so romantic.:lovestruc I want to do a TTD session with David and Vicki but my wedding isn't until 2012. Right now I'm trying to lose weight before I have my e-pics done with them.

Amanda, I love your e-pics and your slideshow. I want to use that song on my wedding day. Your e-pics were romantic too. I love that style. Did you hear that David and Vicki want all us Disbrides to do a group TTD. Wouldn't that be fun?:woohoo:

Here are a few I found out:
1 - only bride and groom allowed
2 - you must pay for two lifeguards which is on TOP of the cost of the session
3 - Must use Disney photographers
4 - Typhoon wave pool cannot be on
5 - They won't schedule them any day of the week

There are a LOT of other rules. A LOT.

That would be so much fun to have a group TTD!!! I want to do it again, since my dress wasn't ruined! :rotfl:

The cost for the Waterparks is only $650.00 plus $50.00 for the two lifeguards. The pics we saw from Typhoon Lagoon were excellent & very fun! So for us this is a great "once in a lifetime" photo op. I love the river inner tube shots our Planner showed us! I know several people prefer to use non-Disney photogs and the work I've seen is great, but the Disney folks have really been doing an excellent job over the last year or so, so we have no worries. Plus, the Planners help set you up with the right photographer and you get to talk about the type of shots you want. WE'll post after our Escape Wedding in October and let you all know. Whatever you decide-you will always love the fact that you did the extra photos!
Che:cool1:ers!

We did a TTD seesion in April at the Polynesian with David and Vicki. The did our Disney wedding and of course we had to go with them for the TTD. We had such an amazing time! I would definitely recommend doing it. They are talking about doing a group session in October. That would be a blast!

OoO a disney TTD! My husband and I got married this past January in Turks and Caicos and did a TTD shoot there and it was AMAZING!! It was totally worth it!

A TTD Shoot in Disney sounds awesome! And one of my friends was married in Disney and she did a TL TTD and had an amazing time and her pics were awesome and soo much fun!

I would definitely splurge to spend the money on the pics! $700+ is not bad at all! Totally worth it!

Here is one of our favorite pics from T&C:

Meagan & JFondulas,

I love both of your TTD pictures! It looks like so much fun!
Jfondulas, I love them all but especially the one on the waterslide!:cutie:

I had never heard of TTD until I came on this board, but boy does it look cool in your pictures!! Did you have any qualms about doing that to your dress? Did the water do much damage? I'm sure the sand did! Of course, when the heck would you wear it again anyway....

Great pictures, thank you for sharing with us!

Brooke

Jfondulas where was the picture taken of you laying in the flowers??

And just a question about TTD... is the dress really trashed?

SHe had them done at the Poly, and the pictures is taken under a tree at the Poly after the blooms fell!! I LOVE IT and IT LOOKS AMAZING!!!:banana:

And no your dress isn't trashed.... It is able to be dry cleaned and comes out fine!!

Yes I'm definity doing a TTD with David and Vicki. Location is yet to be determined!! :goodvibes

Most mid-priced wedding gowns these days are made of some form of synthetic fabric and can easily be cleaned after a TTD session. Unless your dress is 100% silk, I wouldn't worry about it. :thumbsup2
