Disney's Summer Work Experience

Hi all, just wanted to share my excitement. I got an e-mail today offering me a job in merchandise, from the 10th of June till the 31st of August 2012! Excited is an understatement!

I was just wondering if anyone else, or anyone's DS/DD has been accepted this year as I know last year there were a couple of people that did the programme from the DIS.

If not, I hope to see some DISers next year at work and perhaps venture on my first DIS meet

I got accepted in QSFB 5th June- 17th August. So so happy and excited.

I got accepted in QSFB 5th June- 17th August. So so happy and excited.

CONGRATULATIONS to both of you!!!

Well done - apparently the competition was crazy this year so you have both done very well!! Be prepared for what will be the best 3 months of your life!!!

If you head over to the college thread on the DIS you might find more people there doing the ICP. You'll also find many lovely Americans doing the CP too

So yeah, congratulations again! Enjoy it all - even the build up! Embassy appointments, packing, forms.... it's all fun when you think about the reasoning for doing them!!!

I'm soooo jealous Would give anything to do it again but I am so happy for both of you

Congratulations to you both. My DD did the college programme last summer and loved it. She was in merchandise and worked in Mickeys of Hollywood in Hollywood Studios mainly. It was a great place to work and she was really well looked after. Wishing you both an amazing summer experience and enjoy the build up !
