I applied about an hour ago! Got my nice email thanking me for my submission . . . now the waiting begins!

I just submitted my application...I agree it is hard to say enough in 100 words for someone to want to pick you...

Any ideas on how long it will be before the next phase begins?

If you are not contacted by a Disney rep before November 1, then you did NOT make it to the next round.

Good luck to all - I just applied. Thank goodness I check the DIS daily, almost forgot it was today!
I think I could have easily written a thousand words, 100 seems so short!!!!

obviously, judging by my username i wouldn't be a disney 'mom', but i think that i might apply for this just for fun. one question though, say that i am selected, would my wife get to go on the 12/5-9 trip with me or would i have to go by myself? that would make a great one year anniversary present.

there is a man that is answering questions this year. i think for legal purposes they have to choose at least one male. so go for it!!
ive been wondering that too, is it a trip for 2 or do you have to go alone?

From what I read on another thread about this subject. The first trip is only for the "Disney Moms." The "Moms" will receive a "family" trip for later in the year, in addition to the solo trip.
