I was late too but it appears they received it, or were able to accommodate based on TP and check-in request! There was a message on our phone about continuing our stay so it appears we get to stay where we are! Going to ask before unpacking though.

Yay!! We get to keep our room! So thankful as it’s in bldg 4 as I’d requested and hoped to get, floor requested, refurbished, overlooking Skyliner and non-connecting.

The last number of trips I’ve requested a location change so thrilled not to need to do that this time.

Picture taking has started so I’ll have updated pics for the posts on page 1.

Most/all of building 5 closed for refurbishment. Will walk further to check the back of the T. Those rooms appear to possibly be open.

Did a grocery order with Walmart and once I figured out the International cc challenge, it went very smoothly and was waiting for us when we arrived. Nice to have done items in the room.
If anyone has questions they would like answered, please let me know.

Just received our room assignment and it’s perfect!! Challenge could be tonight is a one night reservation I added later. Hoping we can keep our room for the remainder of our trip! Will ask at the front desk when we arrive.

I used your technique of snail-mailing in a request @WEDWDW and it worked - at least for one night.

May I ask for the snail mail address please? I definitely think this is a a brilliant idea

Lol, honestly I’m not sure!! It was a challenge for sure but eventually accepted my Costco MC.

I see his point if they have Deluxe extra hours in the parks - being able to walk to EPOCT

But we could save $200 a night at POP - use the money for direct minnie poke-a -dot LYFT service at $50 a ride and still have $100 left over each day for food

So would you do POP or Boardwalk DVC studio rental ?

I definitely wouldn't spend money on a minnie van...if you're going to do that, just stay at Sports and save more. If you're going to spend the money anyways; I'd def. spend it on a deluxe resort over Pop.

We are also currently in building 4, two rooms on the 3rd floor (not facing away the pool). If either you or your daughter are Stitch fans, we are pixie dusting some Croc charms on our door first thing in the morning every day for the rest of this week.

Thanks for this update. Fingers crossed that the pool view rooms in 5 will be finished in about 3 weeks. We have 2 preferred pool view rooms booked for mid Sept with requests for 1st floor so having all the applicable rooms back open will increase our chances of getting 1st floor.

On the flip side when you at the boardwalk looking at the meager quick service food spots you would be thinking “dam if I only I had a food court and not have to eat the same sandwich every day”
