I have a couple of questions about pizza at everything pop...

How big are the giant slices of pizza in relation to a whole large pizza?

And, are the whole pizzas ready to purchase and take, or is there a waiting period?

Trying to decide if it's better to buy two slices or a whole pizza while in a time crunch.

Thanks.

They custom make the whole pizzas. You order, then pay, show the receipt, then they give you a beeper. It usually takes about 10-15 minutes.

We have just 7 weeks left till I am in my happy place! I am going to soak up every minute of my very short stay - it will be a LONG time till we get back. So much on the horizon that is going to require my money at home, ha!! :) and :(

we never did get a big slice. only an entire pizza. but .. for the first time, we were able to order a pizza with sausage through the food court! for years we could only orde either cheese for pepperoni, whic we don't care for.. if you wanted sausage you had to get pizza dilivery, which added a tip and delivery charge. a wo we gor the sausage pizza and.. what can I say? it wasn't bad. we weren't really hungry as we had had a big table service lunch, we got a big pizza for 2 cs CREDITS, PLAU S YUMMY CHOCOLATE CAKES AND 2 DRINKS (WHICH CAME IN REALLY HANDY, SINCE.. EVEN THOUGHT OUR ROOM WAS CLOSE TO THE FOOD COURT, WITHOUT THE HANDLES, THE MUGS ARE not CONVENIENT ANYMORE!
oop I accidentally pressed the caps lock and am too lazy to go back and redo it.

I want to add we REALLY!! iss the mom's night out. hubby really isses the turkey dinnner. (they now only have a trukey sandwich) and I reall still miss the yummy shrimp lo mein

An airbus a330 from London lol!
You will be in terminal A then. It is a very easy to navigate airport. Just really long. You will probably pull in close to the center of the terminal. Every Disney flight I've ever taken has been on one end or the other. Thankfully they have a nice tram like the one in Orlando airport!

What kind of plane are you coming into Detroit on? If it is a regional jet, you will need to cross under the tarmac. If you've never done it, it's kinda neat! Very Disney-like, actually :)

A little off topic but you have picked my curiosity :) I have flown in and out of Detroit hundreds of times and have never done this and am curious lol. What do you mean "cross under the tarmac"? And Terminal A? I thought there was North and McNamara? Or do they call them different names for flights coming in from overseas?

I know I'm flying in and out of McNamara (Virgin/Delta codeshare). Not sure about terminal A

Here now. Got our Tiuring Plans FAXed request for a 60's room, ground floor.

Mugs do not have handles and finding we like this a lot as they easily fit in the stroller up holders. We keep them filled with water all day and just keep refilling.

1 bus board working.

Has been a great trip so far with really low crowds!! Yesterday Splash had a 5 min wait at 2:30 in the afternoon and the day before the single rider line at Test Teack was empty!! This is our normal visit time but crowds are finitely lower than in years past. Yay!!

I had to google this as it also got me curious. I found this video link

Perhaps I used the wrong word. Concourse A is the main one in the McNamara terminal. Concourse B and C are technically part of the McNamara terminal. You have to take the tunnel that runs underneath the tarmac to get between them.

Thanks so much for your report. Hope you're having a great time!!!! I'm a little bummed about the handle-less mugs, but oh well. I bought these from Amazon to use on our mugs, I'll report back how it works out.

13 days! It's been a while since we have been and I'm drawing a blank, what is the outlet setup near the beds. I think I remember bringing a surge protector. But we also have a small usb plug I think I've brought before. Anyone have a pic? Thanks

Unless they've changed them in the past few weeks it is just a standard 2 plug outlet behind the bedside table, one of which has the alarm clock plugged into it. There is also a standard 2 plug outlet on the small wall near the door and one by the dining table. If you are going to need more than 1 at the bedside table for phones definitely bring your power strip.
