What kind of discounts are you seeing for June usually at Pop?

We like either the 60's or 70's sections and like the pizza, and we like the ice cream as dessert. You can have your receipt stamped so you can eat your hot food first then go back and get your ice cream. Just tell your cashier.

In no particular order:

1. We like 50's section lake view. Walking out the door and seeing Hourglass lake and AoA is great. Even better at night.

2. You can get a great view of Hollywood Studios fireworks from Hourglass Lake and/or from the balcony of a lake view room.

3. If you like ice cream, Pop has one of the best deals on property. About $5 for a good sized sundae, with 3 scoops of whatever flavor of ice cream (several to choose from) and a ton of different toppings. No extra charge for anything (nuts, hot fudge, caramel, cookies, crushed candy, etc).

4. This goes for all resorts but not many know about it. If you plan to do laundry, you can use this site to check which washers and dryers are available, and you can check to see if your laundry is finished. http://laundryview.com/laundry_room.php?lr=4575533

5. This one is from my wife: "Don't use the stairs at night, you might find gigantic moths the size of your head, unless you like that sort of thing"

I'm so excited too! 63 days for us, and Monday I do FP+s!!! I've been over and over our plans and think I have it figured out. Or as best I can without knowing all of Disney's plans for SW fireworks and AK.

13 days until check-in - this will be our 1st stay at Pop and we are so excited! Last year we stayed at ASMo and really enjoyed it but we wanted to try something different. My kids really loved the theming at ASMo and only agreed to try a different hotel when we showed them there were still Disney characters as part of the theme.

Walk the kids over the bridge to AOA...really cool

Wow. I just read that they're not operational yet. That seems so strange to me, seeing as they were in place mid-April when we were there. I wonder why there's so much delay getting them working?

Yes,they've been up a LONG time.

No one seems to know the reason for the delay.

It would be so GROOVY if they would get them working!

60 Days!

Just finished picking our FP+ selections, got everything we wanted. No problems getting Frozen Ever After or 7DMT. It was my first time since they updated the FP+ to the new look etc recently. It was simple to use but frustrating a few times. I noticed that it doesn't show you ALL the times, even when you choose the view more times etc. I learned to refresh the page, and a few times I would go out and back in until I saw the time I wanted.

I also did online checkin this morning, it was easy and I picked my two requests. I did 60s & ground floor. I'm also going to be doing the room request fax using touring plans layout where I'll be more specific with the rooms we'd prefer. Figured I'd cover our bases but I'm making sure not to have any conflicting information.
So excited to be home at Pop!

A friend and I are planning a one night stay at Disney for the MNSSHP before moving to Universal for the rest of the week. This is a LOW budget trip so I'm thinking of staying at Pop to save some money. But, having never stayed there before, I have a few questions:

- Of the four levels (Standard room, standard view; standard room, pool view; preferred room, standard view; preferred room, pool view), which level has the most rooms? We are going to be arriving early (my friend's flight lands at 9:15 and mine is around 10:30) and I would like to do whatever possible to increase the likelihood of us being able to check in soon after we arrive so we can crash for a few hours before the party starts.

- Even with the refurbs going on (we would be arriving on 10/31), there should be one quiet pool (the bowling pin pool) available, correct?

From what I've read, the room refurb and work on the Hippy Dippy Pool is not supposed to start until the middle of October.

Is work being done to the hippy dippy pool in addition to the computer pool?
