Hi all,
Does anyone know if they have sugar free syrups for their iced coffee's at POP? They have them listed as a snack item for QS and I would rather have a coffee than 2 snacks or sides.

Thanks!! :)

I'm sure this has been asked before, but... ;)

On the online check in room request options for POP, what's the difference between "Fourth Floor" and "Highest Floor"?

On the online check in room request options for POP, what's the difference between "Fourth Floor" and "Highest Floor"?

Fourth Floor - You want to be on the 4th floor. If no roons are available on the 4th floor, you could end up on any floor maybe even the ground floor.

Highest Floor - You want to be on the highest floor available. They will start looking for a room on the 4th floor then work their way down. Basically you'll be on any floor except the ground floor.

Thank you! That was what I was guessing "Highest Floor" meant but wasn't sure. That sounds like what I want - I don't need 4th, but would rather not be Ground.

I just wish they had a "Courtyard View" option (eg facing "inward"/other buildings).

That's one of the reasons I don't make any room requests during online check in. The options are predetermined and very limited. I prefer to call and add our room requests to our reservation. That way I can request exactly what we want.

--- Check-in question ---
I've never driven into POP. I've always arrived via DME, so with that I have a couple questions:
When I arrive at the security hut (is that what this is called?) other then a driver's license, what do I show them that proves I'm staying at POP? My magicband?
After returning my car to the DoubleTree Downtown, I'll be arriving back via UBER. Once again, what ID will they ask for?

One last question:
If I need $5 bills (to leave for tips) can I get those at the front counter? At Pop shopping and dining?

T minus 52 days and counting.

I make up Mousekeeping (and Dining tip) envelopes before we leave home and put the $5 in then and keep the envelope in my planning binder. I do $20 for dining tips, hat is usually about what it works out to. Then we decorate each envelope.

Has anyone seen any Bounceback dates yet? I am trying to get an idea for next years vacation. I know we will be there in Sept but I always want to think ahead.

When we've arrived when driving we just tell the guard we are checking in, show them your license and that's it! It's nice and easy. Your uber driver will just tell them they are dropping a guest off, they may scan your band.

There is a separate lane at most resorts that you just hold your band up to and it opens the gate if you're staying there, I found that only works after you check in though.

It's easiest to get change before you go but if not I'm sure any of the above will accommodate you if they can.

I always get change at either the front desk or at the gift shop with no problems. I always seem to forget to bring many dollar bills (I don't travel with much cash anyway).

You make a great point about the pizza being a good value on the QS plan. For 2 credits you get the large pizza, 2 desserts, and two drinks. If you also use your refillable mugs, you could exchange those drinks out for sides or extra desserts.

This is great to know. This would easily feed our family of 4 (if we switch out the drinks for 2 sides).

It may have been mentioned somewhere in this thread already but the Fax# listed on the first page is incorrect. I tried it this morning and it has been disconnected or changed just as an FYI.

I know in the past that I found this information in the thread, but I have forgotten! Can anyone tell me how to figure out which buildings and rooms have king beds? My DH and I were successful last year and got one. I just want to make sure with my requests that I am not asking for a building/floor that doesn't have king beds. Thank you!

Every floor of every building has a few king rooms. Here's a link that shows the layouts of where the king rooms are on each floor (scroll down on the page to see the diagram).

Once again you folks come through with great answers. I leave on a Sunday and Saturday I had dedicated to washing and packing. So, I should be able to head to a bank for some $5 bills. Also, since I'm driving from Tampa I can make a grocery store stop and get some change there.

Thanks again! T minus 51 days and counting.

I really want to see Disney Christmas next year but I cant find a way to get free dining at that time frame. My DH just shakes his head. Since I plan all our trips, he says for us to go a shorter time frame if I really want to go. But I was hoping to go for 10 days next year. :scared:
