I just noticed that nachos are no longer listed on any online menus, are they really gone?! I love those nachos! They're the perfect poolside snack!

I hope not....makes a perfect(cheap) lunch for 2 when you load up the toppings.

I called Disney Saturday and added our flights to the Magical Express, added our celebration, bought travel insurance, and made a payment! I'm getting so excited! :jumping3: I cannot wait for the MNSSHP tickets to become available and for them to announce the Food and Wine Concerts. Besides those, I'm counting down till when I can do my ADR's!

I may have asked this upthread, but if I did, I don't remember getting an answer.

For our Pop reservations in April, my parents have booked a preferred room and we have booked a standard room. If I request nearby rooms (which I don't even know how to do!) will they potentially get bumped out of preferred and into a standard area? And is there a way to avoid that?

I certainly would not want to imply that we want to be moved to preferred without paying for it, because we don't, but I am wondering if there's a specific area where some standard and preferred rooms are near each other.

On the other hand, it's really not that big of a deal, so maybe I'll just let well enough alone. We never make Disney room requests and are always happy with our rooms!

You can get rooms in the same building that are preferred and standard. 50/60/70's all have both. You can even be on the same floor.

The rooms in yellow are preferred. However, the ones in the 60's right beside the Hippy Dippy pool are preferred pool view.

I'm so glad this question was asked and answered! We are traveling with family and they want a preferred room and well we don't mind saving money :). It would be great to be close to them though!

When is it too late to change our online check in requests? We check in Saturday and I just tried to change my requests from 60's to 50's and it wouldn't let me change the check boxes. Tries from phone and kindle. Is it too late of just MDE? I will call tomorrow.

You will have to call to change, you can't modify them online. I had this same issue and I just called to adjust. I was lucky, I got my requests

In the food court, how many slices do you get in a large pizza (17.99 one.) That seems like a good value so I'm sure it's small, right?

We got one in August and it's a large pizza. I think 8 slices. My DD and I ate on it for two days.

It is a similar size to a large pizza at most places. I agree that 8 slices is about right. However, if you were to order the single slice that they sell for $8 (it's $9.50ish with the little side salad) they give you 1/4 of that whole pizza. So with that in mind it's a VERY good deal.

Thanks! With a side or two, that could probably feed our family of 4 for dinner.
Yes. Definitely. Plus, if your on the dining plan, a large pizza counts for 2 QS meals. This would include 2 sides and 2 drinks or just use your refillable mugs for drink and you can get 4 sides instead.

Sorry if this question was asked but don't have time to read 170 pages.

How many power outlets does the room have? All 4 of us will have phones and probably need to charge the phones everynight after we come back from the park. Do I need to bring power strip or is there at least 4 phone outlets?
Thank you

I'm hoping a few frequent POP visitors can assist me with a next year question :) I've stayed at POP many times with my family and for the life of me can't remember if we stayed at POP when we visited in April one year. For those that have been at POP at the end of April when they have the cheerleading competitions, do they indeed stay at POP as well as some of the other values? I believe I read they also stay at CBR but I'm not positive. We plan to stay there for two nights at the end of April next year and I know the cheerleading competitions will be going on at the same time. We were there in 4/2010 I think and yes they were loud and noticeable in the parks but didn't feel they were "obnoxious" in any way - just kids having fun. With that said since my step dad will be driving us down and I'd prefer we get some rest and have read they can be loud at POP.

Has anyone experienced this at the end of April and at POP? We can bump up to POFQ but since this is my niece's first trip (albeit quick since we are taking her on the Dream) I thought POP would be the most fun for everyone.

Thanks for anything you can share :)
Heather
