We're at Pop now. I did not like the changes back in 2013 either. But the menu has really improved! They have a new selection of burgers. We had the Italian burger, the Picnic burger and the Oscar burger so far. We didn't love the Oscar, but the other two burgers were so yummy!I love the luggage tags! Ironically, not a single person in my family would have gotten their favorite, or even second favorite character if they had sent them out that way on our last trip, however. I think on my next trip, I'll choose my magic band by the luggage tag instead of the other way around! We decorate our bands, anyway.
On another note, does anyone have any info. about the new menu at POP? Not the 2013 new one, a recent change. Josh from easywdw.com has been referencing it on twitter and it's on the official website. Well crap. I was getting a specific color because of a skin I bought to reflect fall/Halloween. But normally I despise orange or yellow was only going fall as a lark. I want the gray or blue tag. Now I have to decide to go for a tag I like or a band that matches a theme.This is actually starting on 9/29/15!

Yes! It was my husband's birthday two days ago, so we put a candle in the King cupcake and sang happy birthday (cause, of course he thinks he's the king

They used to be located behind the counter where the icecream is, but now they're in the self serve bakery case and I don't think it's actually labelled as the King cupcake, but it has a white chocolate musical symbol on top.

so if you have more bags than people, how do you get the additional bags on DME? Hopefully this is a hypothetical, but travelling with 2 kids and one in diapers I need to be prepared.
Looking for suggestions regarding room requests. Which do you prefer at POP - 1st floor or Highest Level? We have older kids (16 and 13) and don't have any medical need for a 1st floor so we were just wondering what the consensus is and why? We will be in the parks for fireworks so having a fireworks view is not important to us. BTW, we booked a standard room if that helps at all.

). Our most important request was connecting rooms and when we got those, I was happy. We actually ended up loving the ground floor room for the convenience of it. I have ended up loving every room that we have had for different reasons however the last 2 trips we were in building 2 and that can be a pretty long trek back to the room after a long day in the park. The posts that I have read from guests that don't like a ground floor room is due to extra foot noise from guests passing by and easy access for critters into the rooms from the landscape. Most of the guests that like a 4th floor room is for the quiet level with no one above them and the ability to get a beautiful view of the resort/lake/landscape and possibly fireworks. There are definitely pro's and con's to both. I like them both so I am no help at all and I always go with the understanding that even if I do add a floor request or an era to my room request, there is only a 50/50 chance I will get what I thought I wanted. The great thing is, it always surprises me when I get a room that I thought I didn't want and end up loving it no matter where it is located!
