When is your stay? I had no problems booking a patio for 5/31.

Maybe @blue oranda was requesting a Cabana vs a Patio and the CM might not have offered one of the 3 Patios at the Oasis pool.

No The CM understood I was asking about the Polynesian Oasis pool. They have to check availability for all 3 individually apparently too and they did that while I waited but no dice.

OK the other thing to double check is if you are actually at or within your 60 window. The End July may be outside of your 60 window. Did you use a 60 day calculator? I have made that mistake a few times.

Example for a 7/23 check-in date your 60 window does not open until 5/24 (Saturday)

I've ridden the monorail several times since the tower opened and didn't notice any difference.

Glad to hear about the monorail not being too crowded. We are staying 1 night in June and 5 nights in November in the Tower and I am really hopeful the monorail will still be usable without a lengthy wait. Not that I would be upset using the boats.

So said arriving late and higher floor requested . (Tower deluxe studio) 4p get room ready text floor 3. Ugh the tower parking lot view kinda sucks .

My dh made me move from GF due to the motion sensor air conditioner.

This trip I’ll just be busy . The Tpv side was shady last month . I won’t even use the balcony with 90+ temps in full sun. So I guess floor really won’t matter after all!

I do love the room ! It’s so efficient!

DH work delay, he meeting me tomorrow instead so I’ll just walk the poly grounds this trip . It’s poly!!! All good!

Every year when we book patios I call 60+10 days out for our 10 night trip. I can usually only get one or two and everything else is “sold out”. However, when we are actually there - there are always multiple days when it is empty and available. We booked one the day of this past trip. I am not sure if people cancel, or if they hold some back .

You can watch the Monorails Glide by at night but yes, don' look down unless you want to monitor the parking lot. Your signature tag indicates you moved again since it still shows the CRS Tower King.

First time I couldn’t snag a cabana for our upcoming stay. The whole week was already booked. Maybe because the new tower has opened up and more people now.

We are staying June 13-22. I called 60 days out for our trip and nothing for any patio. Let me tell you getting up at 3:45 am to make that call was no fun and then no luck. I have subsequently tried about 7 different times to see if anything and I have had some CM more helpful then others. I will try to see what I can get the day of on a few of our break days.

I met a woman last night that booked preferred view in the tower, deluxe studio.

I feel so bad! Spent that extra money but her room is right above mine but floor 7. Nope this side is so boring I won’t book std/resort in the tower again. Now I won’t book preferred either.

Just changed my July to Resort View CL. I am always happy in Hawaii. I had resort view and I didn’t like the parking lot views of Rarotonga or Aotearoa I’ve had in the past. So if I upgraded to water or TPV I might as well do CL right?

Thanks your update from the resort. Any updates on the Wailulu Bar & Grill or how busy the pools are for this holiday weekend?

Just to clarify the lady you met lost the preferred view lottery. She got a room on floors 6-8, one of the (8) deluxe studios - preferred view studios that have the same view as you but since they are sightly higher up so they get to see the Golf course in the distance. The deluxe studios - preferred view studios on floors 4-5 actually overlook the resort / cove pool.

The other (16) deluxe studios of the (24) - preferred view studios overlook the resort / cove pool / Seven Seas Lagoon.

Drove around Poly recently. While construction continues on the Floridian Way widening and new intersection of Floridian Way and Seven Seas Drive, there’s basically nothing yet happening in terms of the Poly entrance reconfiguration project. That’s a relatively big project that will eventually get going at some point.

Roundabouts and more roundabouts. With thousands of tourists on unfamiliar roads, what could possibly go wrong!?! lol.

But yeah, that whole roadway project just seems to go on and on.
