Hello all!! Long time lurker here..
I am very excited as we are booked for my beloved Poly once again! First time as club level!
With that said we aren't going until Sept of 2017 but wondering about when will i receive an email from the IPO? Closer to the ADR mark?

There was some talk a few pages back about the monorail and getting to PPO breakfasts. What about the monorail on EMH days? We will be at the Poly next month and are planning Morning EMH one day. I would like to be at Epcot about 7:45 so we will be ready to head in right at 8. Does anyone know if the monorails run for EMH or if there are busses?

I'm a bit concerned about this as well. We are looking to get to EPCOT for EMH (start at 8a) as well as PPO for MK (8a), rope drop (8a), and EMH (7a!!!).

Exciting - I love September trips and Poly CL is my personal favorite. There isn't really a consistent pattern as to when you will receive the e-mail. Sometimes you might not receive one at all. I tend to find that if I don't receive an e-mail within a few days of booking (no matter the length in advance), it's probably not coming. BUT, no worries - you can e-mail IPO at any time. Just include your reservation number in the e-mail. Also make sure to check your spam folder just in case. You won't have an issue getting to MK. If the monorail isn't running, the boats will be. For EP, take a cab or uber. The earliest the Epcot monorail starts running is 8 am, and I don't think that changes for EMH. If I'm wrong, someone please correct me!!!

I'm sure someone knows the technical answer but honestly that's always been a big mystery for me!

Thanks. I guess if it starts at 730 on our Epcot EMH day, we will walk to the TTC to try and be on the first train of the morning.

I have our first trip to the Poly booked I am super excited!! I am so unsure what to request for our room. We are traveling with 2 kids 4,6 I am not sure if I should call and request a longhouse or just see how it goes. I am thinking I would like a 3rd floor with a balcony. I am not sure if I would like Fiji or Samoa. Anyone have any good input!!

We had 3rd floor Fiji and loved it!!! Overlooked Marina and was so quiet. Loved watching electric water parade from balcony.

Fiji is closer to the boat dock, but the monorail is not much farther. Since the boat picks up at GF first, often boats are full (or close) when they arrive at Poly, so we normally take the monorail.

Yep, that would be my plan. Barring any mechanical problems you'll be just fine.

To go to MK we used monorail (when it was functioning, LOTS of times it was down last week). We also walked over to TTC and used the monorail to MK there. On 10/1 there were issues with boat and monorail, we just waited it out for the monorail. Have fun!!! And Fiji is very close to Captn Cooks/Main house.

We took a cab from the Poly to our PPO ADR last week. I think It was around $12. So worth it

Super excited - just booked our first ever stay at Poly CL!! We will be there May 19th-24th!! Please add us to the guest list for 2017.

We are doing s split stay and will be at YC May 24th - 29th.

Aloha All! First time at Poly, and first time DVC rental! Staying two nights at AKL SV DVC, then two nights at the Poly Jan 24-26. Son has a room with the same schedule. Super excited! We are all adults travelling, should we bother having the owner do a room request? If so, what would be best?

Longtime Poly fan here! I've been off the threads since our last trip in June. I was a little sad that with our upcoming challenging summer of 2017 that a trip would not be possible (internship for DD20, wedding, and preparing for two in college ). However, I am now finding myself waiting for the 7 month window to open to book our 2017 trip! Less than a month until I can book!!! This will be our 8th trip at the Poly and I think 17th trip to WDW!!! Come on November!!!! Celebrating DDs 21st and DS graduation from HS!
