how will I be able to check the total that's been charged to our room? Will it show up on MDE?

You can go down to the front desk and they'll print out a list of all your charges for you. I did this several times on our last trip because I was using gift cards to pay down the room balance; it was quick and easy.

so with the east pool closed which long house would you request for a garden view. Will it still be closed in September?

Yes, it will likely be closed into early 2016.

Aotearoa or Fiji would be your best options to be away from the construction.

I can't seem to get the website to work

Hmm, I just clicked the link and it went straight to the website. Is the site not coming up at all or is there a paticular problem you are having trouble with?

Ok, see you edited, glad you got it worked out! It does look like the king standard rooms do have the daybed.

Pretty much every longhouse has standard view rooms, except for the DVC, but not all longhouses have king bed rooms.

Thanks. I put in a request for Fiji, we like that location. I'm debating on calling to add in a request for King bed with a day bed. DGD will share with me but she'd rather sleep on a day bed, if we could get a room with one. It's not necessary, just nice. Now I'm wishing I had walked around the Resort more on our last trip. It's hard to get a grasp of everything on just photos. The only places we've walked to are Lilo's Clubhouse building and the Great Ceremonial House. About all I know is Fiji building is on the opposite end from Lilo's building.

Fiji, looks nice. We have never stayed at the Poly, always a bucket list, next month will be our first time. We requested Niue, just because of the closeness to the Grand Ceremonial, but we shall see. The website, and his FB page have been a tremendous help is us choosing. We are looking forward to the resort, even the few warts with construction going on.

You could also pay cash for a DVC studio. I'm requesting Moorea for next month.

We stayed in Fiji in 2013 and loved it. Close to the pool and GCH - but a bit of a walk to the TTC. Had a 3rd floor room with a view of the marina and the pool, just gorgeous.

I requested Raratonga, 3rd floor at online checkin. Hoping for a view of the monorail, which would make my boys happy. I wonder whether it's worth it to use the touring plan fax service just for that request.

Want to stay here in January. What are the best buildings to stay in for a regular room with 2 beds that us close to all the transportation. Also are the pool heated in the winter months?

Do you have a link to their fax service? Or can you point me to finding it? I've been a member there for 5+ years but I've never heard of this

Yes, Disney heats their pools

I think this is an excellent choice for a building. We returned last week and stayed in Samoa. Samoa would always be my number one choice but it's a pretty popular request. I think I may request Raratonga next time. It seems like a great location. I'd be interested in knowing your thoughts about Raratonga when you return.
