What is the cut off time for children at Trader Sam's? 8 PM? And is that true of the patio as well, or just inside? TIA! 13 days to go.... And looking forward to hippopotomaitai when I get there!!

Kids can be outside on the Tiki Terrace after 8 and you can order all the same stuff outside.

Sorry the pic is not great. Here now, all beaches are closed and movies are inside(according to info we just got a check-in). I will try to post with personal experience after this evening.

So here is the official answer from staff at the resort front desk right now. This is there words when asked if the movies were moved inside for any reason.

"It (movies) would never be held inside because they do not have anywhere to do that. It will always be on the lawn unless it was too windy and then they just cancel it." They also asked who the Cast Member was that told anyone they moved the movies inside because they needed to be telling the correct information.

I don't see them moving the campfire since it is permanent and will remain closed for as long as the beach is closed. The funny thing is that the original plans for redoing the area between the pool and the back of the GCH had a fire pit right outside the back doors to the GCH but when they redesigned that area the pit was not moved to there.

You can also get adult beverages from the Tambu lounge upstairs, just ask for it in to-go cups. I have done that many times to stroll the grounds.

Also the pool bars may work out too. Lots of places around the resort to sit and relax with the kids. You may even just want to sit on your balcony with your beverages.

I know we usually just sit on the lounge chairs on the beach and watch the castle!! Cant wait!

Or just get a lapu lapu which automatically comes in its own to go "cup"

Does anyone know whether signs like the one posted at GF (pic below) have been added to:

1) Poly beaches and
2) At Poly bungalows?

We're staying at Poly for the first time in Nov (bungalow) and are curious about this.

Anyone happen to know if there are signs at the bungalows? After hearing stories about reported feeding of gators from there, I'm hoping this warning now appears clearly at this location.

Would think that people would 'know' not to feed the gators there as most places I know do not allow feeding wild life.

I firmly believe this situation here is why gators are coming to that area. Wonder if people will 'obey' those signs!

You would think people would know better... sounds like some didn't.

Can only hope this helps... I figure it certainly can't hurt, and is something to point to if one does see people trying to feed them.

I can see cameras going up outside all Bungalows just like at AKL aimed at each floor/balcony. We were aware of them and went about our business of vacation. Better to have safety than privacy. I would support this change. I have read posts on FB also about people feeding the Alligators off of the Bungalow balconies. Makes a bad situation worse.

I think cameras aimed at the bungalows themselves feels like a bit much. Those are pretty close quarters and would seem pretty intrusive to me. Maybe a camera on something like the roof edge of the bungalow aimed at the deck portion?? Not sure what the right answer is, but if there are cameras aimed in at those bungalows, I wouldn't want to stay there. And I assume they'd have to disclose that -- I assume they do at AKL?
