I am an annual pass holder and the announcement for the Pin Celebration posts a price of 99.95 and says that the price will be adjusted for those who have a pass to Epcot. Does anyone know what the adjusted price will be?

I've never been to a Pin Event before. Can anyone tell more details?
What are RSP's?
Do you collect about 2 or 3 pins a day?
Are the pins reserved for Event participants or will they sell out (it says that other times will be open to everyone with Epcot admission)?
Where can you eat breakfast in the World Showcase?
What is a typical "Event Gift"?
What type of "No longer available" Disney pins are sold?

Thanks for helping me with my enthusiastic, addictive curiosity,

No problem. We're here to help encourage this particular addiction. ;)

I haven't heard what the adjusted price will be, but Jim Green (one of the higher ups in WDW pin program) told me details will be coming on July 8th.

The RSP is the Random Selection Process. Event attendees fill out a form stating the pins they want in order of preference. So far it's been a great defense against people camping out in lines and against sharks hording pins.

This year we've seen about 6 LE pins, 6 open stock pins, and one Artist Choice pin at each event. Last August, I believe there were 4 LEs each day plus some framed sets. I haven't heard how many will be available each day.

Those attending the pin event do get the first opportunity for the pins through the RSP, and then can buy any remaining pins through a second chance purchase. Any pins remaining after that are available to the public.

Last year's breakfast was served, I believe, in the World Showplace pavillion, which is between the UK and Canada.

The "Event gifts" have varied. At each event everyone received a LE 1000 pin. At the Big Pin Game, people got a pennant. The AK event attendees also received a fanny pack pin bag.

Usually the "no longer available" pins can be some things you haven't seen before or in a while. Last year's Epcot event included CM pins from the Millennium Village and the auction items included framed mystery pins. There's no telling what Disney will have planned for us this year.

When I called them today they said they are shooting for the 8th to have the forms up. On the form will be all the info about the various costs and you check what you need and so on. The date is not set in stone yet though it is just their shoot for date at this point.

There is more info on dizpins. They state that if you already have admission they will deduct $50.88 from the package price. Gives a list of what the package includes and that package sales will start on Monday July 8. With only 1000 avail we all better be up early on Monday!
