Disney's Photo Pass or Memory Maker? So confused!

We are headed down in February with another family. We have this whole trip planned together and are sharing a 2 bedroom at Saratoga. I have been to WDW many times, but I've never done the picture stuff. Can someone break down for me what the various options are and what they cost? I've read the threads around here and frankly I'm more confused! Do we buy the package, which I think is around $140 (?) and do we get all the pictures with it, or do we have to buy all our pictures separate or what? Sorry, I'm clueless on this one... Thanks!

Memory Maker I believe is $199 but in advance is $50 off. Once you link Memory Maker to your account ALL the linked guest ride photos/videos, photopass pictures by the photographers, are included. After your stay you can add 'decorations' and download to your computer to upload to just say Shutterfly/Walmart/etc. to print at whatever their cost is.
