I am not sure if anyone has already heard but NBC traded ABC a sportsbroadcaster for Walt Disney's Oswald. Me being a vintage disney fan am really excited and can't wait to see what comes of it. :woohoo:

It was quite funny watching the local sports guy tell the story (as well as seeing him try to keep a straight face). My husband laughed :lmao: really hard and at first we thought it was a joke. But it is on MSN FOX and ESPN so it must be true.

Hey! That's pretty cool! I wonder how the Disney artists will update the character for the 21st Century?

And we all have Oswald to thank for Disney's strict licensing policies!! ;)

the funny thing is though, had the lucky rabbit not been stolen, it's possible that Walt would never have created Mickey, and the empire might never have been created, WDW and the dis might not exist as we know them today,

I just hope that management doesn't make too much out of Oswald, and overshadow Mickey

I hope that we never lose site of one thing: that it
was all started by a rabbit. :rotfl2:

Welcome Home Oswald.

I heard this on KWY on my way to work today. I thought it was pretty cool that Disney was on the ball like this to get him back. You would think with the Disney family & the Old Men being gone it would not have been thought of.
