Disney's On The Record - New musical!

I've heard of it. Emily Skinner is the lead, I believe!

I wish it were coming to Buffalo! :(

We were lucky enough to see this show on the offical opening in Cleveland a few weeks ago. Our whole family found it very enjoyable. It is very different than any other Disney production, with the focus being on the music. Hope you enjoy it!

Mikifan,

Thanks for the review. I have tickets to see this show when it stops in Philly in January and was hoping it would be good.

The Chicago run is almost over and I never even heard of it :sad2: I mean it, I have never seen a commercial for it or anything. Not very good marketing IMO!

I hope I find these tickets in my stocking from Santa! Show will be in Philadelphia in January. :charac2: :rockband:

YEA! It is going to be only 2 hrs away from me at the beginning of Feb.

Oh, but I am due to have my first child around January 20th. I guess it would be wrong to take a 2 week old to a show. Especially not knowing how the baby's disposition is going to be. I know that I would be ill if I had paid for tickets and someone brought their screaming baby to the show. I'm sure my baby will be practically perfect, just like its mother. Ha Ha!

We already have our tickets for Kansas City in June! We have season tickets to the theatre here and I am so excited it is coming.

The website only has US dates so far through mid July, but I am sure they will add more.

only the US, and not even all the US....the tour does not come anywhere near the west coast, even major cities.....however we ARE getting The Lion King here in the pacific nw next fall

I think the show will be ending this summer due to low ticket sales. I remember reading this a few months ago. Catch it while you can!

We saw it in Washington, DC with our DD's 6 and 8. We all enjoyed it. The kids liked trying to guess what movie the songs were from. We had an extremely small crowd due to the snowstorm the day before. The bartender said that for the afternoon show it was sold out but only 200 people showed up so they closed the upper balcony and everyone got to sit in either the middle balcony or orchestra area. The younger lead woman is excellent. The Lion King is next for us in August.

We saw the show in Philadelphia in February and really enjoyed it.

I had ordered the CD from Barnes and Noble and received it today.

Outstanding collection of Disney music.

I can't wait until this comes to Dallas in June. :bounce:

Wow, dusting off a thread from 2004, that could be a new record (pun intended).

I remember seeing this in Boston in 2005 maybe. It was good but certainly not great.

Wow! Really going back in time with this thread, how cool! That was an amazing show, I think I saw it in 2005. I just mostly remember the vocalists being amazing.
