Has anyone experienced this service? How does it work? Is it efficient? Do you stop at every resort in the part until you reach your destination? I'm not a patient person...can you tell??? :)

Thank you!

Hi and welcome to the DIS!

If you go over to the transportation board (mods will probably move this over soon) you will find dozens of threads on this topic. Browse through the others and you'll get all sorts of opinions!

Used it last month. It worked very well. We arrived at MCO at 11:50 and we left there at 12:25. We stopped at CBR, YC and then BC..our resort. I was at the check-in desk at BC at 1:10. Each bus has a certain resort loop to make, so you won't be stopping at the AllStars if you are staying at an Epcot resort. Maybe 4 stops at most. Very efficient I thought. I'll use it again in Nov and again in Oct '06!!!

We used it a few weeks ago with no problem. We stayed at the POP so we were the 1st drop off. Our luggage was at our room about 4 hours later (we happened to be in the room at the time). I did pack our bathing suits in our carry on so the kids could have them for swimming. It was a great service and put us at ease as to not have to mess with the luggage. We will use it again for our next trip. :goodvibes

I used it just a couple days after it started, and I'm planning to use it again! No bus had more than 4 or 5 different hotel destinations. You may wait at the airport a maximum of 15 minutes it seems. We waited 15 minutes (I think a bus to our hotel left just before we got there), then we went, even though there were only about 20 people on our bus. That's why I say 15 minutes-they certainly don't wait for the bus to fill up. Then, although we were scheduled to be the second stop (after Yacht Club), there was no one listed for there, so we were first. Unfortunately I don't remember quite how long this all took, but I think we got to the Beach Club less than an hour after we first checked in at the airport.

Worked like a "dream" for us. Absolutely perfect. No wait at the airport, to our resort within an hour and luggage in our room within an hour and a half. Leaving was just as good. As far as I can see the bugs have been worked out.

Would HIGHLY recommend this service!

I haven't used Magical Express but have seen some of the operations including Orlando Airport. There have been some reports on these boards about sitting in the bus at the airport for "a long time".

We must not forget that there may be some times when all of the buses are in different parts of their circuits and it is awhile before a new set of buses will arrive at the airport so the set of buses already there has to wait a litle longer for other passengers to get on.

Used it Last Week. Took Just Under an hour to get from MCO to my Resort after making 3 stops before the CR. Great Service. Can't Comment on the Luggage Delivery though because I brought the bags on the Bus.

Great Service.

I used it last week, and ME worked very well for us. When you put the yellow tags on your luggage(which they send to you when you sign up), Disney people pull ALL luggage with yellow tags, it doesn't matter which airline you use. When you walk toward baggage pick-up, there are Disney people with big Mickey gloves who will direct you to a BIG desk near Mears. They review your pick-up info, and direct you to the wait lines. It looks far more chaotic than it is. Each resort is paired with another, and you wait in your own line. Since I was at OKW, SSR was in our line. It took 8 minutes for me to go thru a LONG line to the Mears/Disney desk, and another 7 till I was on a bus, and we arrived at noon. Since we were the only ones going to OKW, we went with Port Orleans. From the time we got off our plane until we got to OKW, it was an hour, and the buses drive SLOOOWLY so that you can see the whole video they have to show you. On the return trip, we checked in at OKW, and they took our luggage, and printed our boarding passes. We left OKW 2 1/2hours before take-off, so we had time to shop  When we arrived home, our luggage was there!

We are arriving at midnight, I hope waiting on the luggage won't be too much
of a delay. My dd age 8 will need to go right to bed. I thought the luggage
would be put on the same bus as the people, I didn't realize there could be
several hour delay to get it. Is this going to be a problem?
