I wanted to surprise my family with something special when we first get to our room. :flower3: I seen the grand welcome and wanted to hear from people that have done this or have any ideas on other thing i can do. Plus i must add i will be at the AKV so there are no balloons. And the cost is ($200. to $300.) :scared1: so i want to make sure i make a smart buy. Thanks for all the help. :thumbsup2

Mickey's Grand Welcome MickeysGrandWelcome

Mickey Mouse heard you were coming to stay at a Walt Disney World resort and so he slipped into your room to leave a special surprise! As soon as you step into your room, you see his footprints leading the way to the bed where a 32" Mickey Mouse plush, a personalized blanket, and a Mickey Mouse-themed welcome package wait for you.

Up high, a celebrate banner and colorful balloon decorations hang on the wall. And look! There’s even a Welcome krispie treat arrangement in a popcorn tin set on the table along with a personalized welcome note in a Disney character frame and an autograph book signed by Mickey Mouse himself! And, if you take a peek around, you’ll find Tinker Bell’s shadow; she’s come to sprinkle Pixie Dust on you! All of this is not only there for you to enjoy – every piece is meant for you to take home!

Contact a Disney Florist Dream Maker at (407) 827-3505 to find out more about or to order this Magical Celebration.

We did this for my daughter on our trip in February. She was very surprised and loved how the room was decorated. I was happy that my husband drove to FL, because we had the very large Mickey Mouse stuffed animal to take home and he wouldn't fit in our suitcases.

We thought it was worth the money.

Thanks, we also will be driving. I was wondering if there is enough stuff for 3 kids,17,13,4, :dance3: i know my 17yro wont care about the stuff Mickey but likes snacks.

This isnt actually in your room when you arrive. They cant do it till after you get there. Usually I think I read between 4-6pm is when they do it.

For that much money, I'd be tempted to do it myself rather than pay that. Can you or someone in your party sneak away and do it? I think you could do something very nice for half that price....
