If you take this route vs monorail, is the wait for security longer? If you take monorail you don't have to do security at MK right? I can't remember atm.

We did mono today . Security at mono at gf has been a breeze . We walked the other day because our building is close to walkway a we had energy .
Security for walkway is empty . Either is a good option imo.

Yep just added Peter Pan. So after concert we have 2 rides prior to closing

There’s room for one more and I hope it’s HM

Last night : ride share from Epcot to poly . You can get drinks from pool bar . There is a side for non poly guests . Got my spikey pineapple and watched EWP and part of Fireworks. Walked back to gf to dump shopping bags .
Well I am the queen of Genie+ !We ended up with Buzz 9:45-10:45, SM 10-11, btmrr 10:25-11 and pirates 10:30-11. Yep got in all 4 by closing !!

Then we could mono back and in bed pretty quick !! Love mono resort area!!!

Jist did a quick pool stop !
Miss SL so took a picture. Then Sago seating and view out lobby back side.

Yesterday was 3 parks , lots at rides and our record 31000 steps +!

Tonoght is DS to see her fav band the Maine . How they are at Disney birthday week? She is a happy girl!!(i would not know them if not for here lol)

I feel like it was about 10 minutes at our pace. Never saw the same monorail twice on our walk. We estimated it to be about the same as the resort monorail based on those observations.

How long is the walk?

I don't know for sure, it's listed as I think .75 miles on a blog. We used it to walk back to the GF on a hot afternoon with two kids in strollers and it wasn't bad. It was packed in the MK and we didn't feel like breaking down our stuff for a boat or waiting for monorail so it was nice to just keep wandering back to our room and decompress along the way.

We did lots of split trips. Two nights at wherever followed by a week at the GF

We kept saying to each other switching from csr to gf if only in a GV rooms was WORTH IT!

Pool was not busy, lobby was fun with the Easter decor. We just love ER in the evenings. Feels like RPC without the RPC pricetag!!

Note: we did have robes in our closet in Sago. We got shampoo, cond, lotion, body wash , shower cap, toiletry kit(q tips etc), mouthwash and solar gel. We got serviced every day. Also they replenished the toiletries. I was happy NOT to have the wall mounted ones at other resorts.

It was nice getting our beds made but I do miss turndown at night and the chocolates. Come on Disney, for these prices lets get back our quality of services!!

Does anyone know whether there is any kind of afternoon tea option running at any of the Grand Floridian restaurants? It looks like the Garden View Tea Room remains closed, but is there anywhere else on resort property that offers anything similar in its absence?

It’s been posted on the DVC threads. There’s only one site posting that information right now about the rooms. The site that posted this information was once blocked here on The Dis, but does not appear to be anymore (as there are links posted on several threads) so I’ll link it. I’m not sure if they are in fact permitted or just a glitch, but If the Mod wants me to remove them, I’ll do so.

Part of the reason I switched to gf last week was to stay before poly construction. Glad we had lobby time!

what I read was that they would be like the DVC resort rooms (the new rooms they are converting right now), not the studio rooms in the main DVC building. Makes sense since the new DVC resort rooms have 2 beds and no microwave like regular resort rooms.
