FYI, when in doubt just put the full URL in the post. If it’s a site not allowed here it will be filtered out. If it’s not, it’ll appear as intended. You can use the ‘preview’ button to check if you don’t want the post to be live.

What runs up against DIS rules is using words or acronyms that sound like the website to get around the filter. But if you post a website link and the filter does its thing, all good.

Yes, I'm at the Grand now and there was a gentleman playing the piano in the middle of the lobby yesterday afternoon.

Disney magic! I booked a garden view room, and was pixie dust upgraded to a lagoon view room on the 4th floor of the main building, with a huge wraparound balcony! They said that was to accomodate my request for a king bed. Maybe it also helped that I'm not traveling with kids, so they thought I'd be quiet?

I am getting so excited! We are 5 days out and things are in place for our trip. The children are so excited now that their dad has told them about the VIP tour and what it is. They are looking forward to getting on their favorite rides and have made their lists. I am looking forward to having a nice relaxing day at the cabana and watching my grandchildren having fun. We will go with the flow and be happy to be back!

Called this morning and found that a Beach Pool cabana opened up for the date I wanted! I booked it and now have to decide which one to keep. Although with it being for Easter weekend, and hearing rumors about there being waits for pools at other resorts, part of me is wondering if it would be crazy to keep both so that we can easily move to the Courtyard if the Beach Pool starts to feel too rowdy.

With the Poly monorail station under construction, are they running any buses/shuttles from GF to Poly in its place?
Or are the current options to get to Poly (for dinner rez) either boat or the walking path?

They're both for Saturday, 4/3. I was going to call this morning to cancel the poolside patio, but didn't wake up early enough to call when the lines first opened.

Edited to add: I decided to call and wait while doing some cleaning around the house. After 90 minutes on hold, I canceled the poolside patio reservation. Took less than 5 minutes once I actually got a CM on the line!

Fyi I just came in from using both GF pools midday and there was zero issue with crowding or finding loungers at either one. I did not show up until after noon, as well.

The hot tub was busy but surprise surprise on that. There was still enough room for me to climb in.
