ok, i am trying to be delicate here.. I know the Grand 1 yacht is is fully loaded, including a bedroom. now i am wondering are guests who charter the yacht allowed to use the bedroom and bed for "naps" or whatever else might come to mind??

I never thought of that :rotfl2: .....though I don't think I would ever even dream of that, I;m curious to know the answer....

Yes, I wouldnt dream of trying anything either but Ill bet there ARE people who would :)

suddenly I can see the value in renting this extravagant vessel... I mean, you don't get that kind of privacy on a pontoon boat...

yes, I would imagine that there are some that would book the yacht for their own "fireworks cruise"... ;)

YES... I was on Grand 1 in May and I asked the CM's same question.. I was told alot of things go on ..... so yes the bedroom is there for your use.

I knew my dear friend Bracho would have the answer to this rather delicate question. Thanks, Bracho, for putting everyone's mind at ease.

Did the Cast Members happen to have a name for the Grand 1's version of the Mile High Club? Would it be the Seven Seas Honeymooers? (That was the cleanest name that I could print. Don't you are ask me what I really think the nickname might be!)

Yo-ho, yo-ho, a pirate's life for me! Shiver me timbers... pirate:

OK Janet, spill the beans. Details, details. ;)

All I keep hearing :listen: in my head is the song, "Don't Rock the Boat Baby!"
Rock the boat. Don't tip the boat over. :rotfl: Does anyone remember this song?

Just for the record, and I hate to say this... I REMEMBER!!

I did a little research and found that The Hues Corporation (click here) performed the song “Rock the Boat” in the '70’s. Their song hit Number 1 on the Billboard Chart in 1974.

For those of you who are unfamiliar with the song, I found its lyrics on the ‘net: click here. I also found an audio clip of the song: click here.

I almost can hear the deckhands for the Grand 1 Yacht (click here) serenading their guests with the following lyrics:

“Our love is like a ship on the ocean
we've been sailing with a cargo full of, love and devotion

So I'd like to know where, you got the notion
said I'd like to know where, you got the notion

To rock the boat, don't rock the boat baby
rock the boat, don't tip the boat over
rock the boat, don't rock the boat baby
rock the boat-t-t-t-t”

While I can kind of see the allure of the bed on the most expensive piece of luxury that WDW has, I wonder if there might be some "performance anxiety" and if not, how do you cooly saunter back on deck, where they KNOW what you've been up to.....

:rolleyes1

LOL, it wouldn't bother my DH one bit!! :)

Why am I suddenly thinking of the movie “The Four Seasons” (click here for movie review)? The part in particular that comes to mind is as follows:
- - - - - -
"By the time of a summer yachting excursion in the Virgin Islands, Anne has been replaced by the very young and very beautiful Ginny (Bess Armstrong), who parades around the boat in her bikini, much to the dismay of the still seething Claudia and Kate. While Jack and Danny seem jealous as hell of Nick, the two women take every opportunity to run Ginny down with vicious zingers that really sting. Their anger at Nick turns to hilarity when they can’t help but overhear the newlyweds’ noisy lovemaking in the crowded confines of the yacht. Giggle fits ensue as the Burroughs and the Zimmers begin to ponder their own mid-life crises."

Since I need to keep my post on-topic...

Bracho, do you have any photos of the Grand 1 yacht to share with us?
