Hey all, I mentioned this back in my birthday post, and couldnt find the link. So i had to ask my mom and she got it for me.

Basically you can have a Disney Princess call you for almost any occasion. My mom has Ariel call me on my birthday, and its very cool. (and im 20, so it must be even better for someone younger) Basically Ariel said she wished she could spend this magical day with me, but had stuff to do under the sea, and you hear flounder in the background calling her and she says she hopes i have a magical birthday. Its great because i always get the call on my cell on my birthday at Disney, in the hotel. So... just thought I'd share this with you! :)

It IS cool!!! AND they have Mickey Mouse now for the boys :earsboy:

I did this for my DD too (her birthday was a couple weeks ago - she turned 11). I had Ariel call too. She got off the phone and was so excited that Ariel had called her (plus practically knocked me over with a hug!).

What made it more hilarious for me is I had been asking her who her favorite Princess was (so I would know who to have call) and she said she didn't really have one. Has also said that when we go if she doesn't see any Princesses it's OK, etc... (doesn't necessarily want to wait in line, etc...).

To see her reaction was hilarious - it was worth every penny! I can't wait for her to meet Princesses for real!! (She's the oldest with 3 little brothers so I think she's putting on the "it's OK, if we don't have time" face but I know she will be giddy to meet them when we get there!). She was so excited telling her dad that Ariel called her, her grandma, etc...

It is a recording! I'm going to have them call before we go on vacation. With having the 3 boys, I wasn't sure who to have call them but then I saw Mickey now. I read someone some else had the idea of buying one of Cinderella calling the night before they had a PS for Cindy's breakfast! I thought that was cool! I would have never thought about actually buying one once we reach Disney.

I would Love to surprise my DH with a Happy Honeymoon but they dont have them

No but they do have one for taking a trip, it's under Encouragement.

I was just looking around once - that isn't exactly where I thought it would be but it was there.

Not quite the same as Honeymoon but it IS a trip! :flower:

Has anyone tried the Enchanted call for taking a trip (preferably Mickey calling)? There's one under encouragement, but I think the Good Morning > Taking a trip is what I'm interested in. If anyone has, could you reply with what he says? Thanks! :bounce:

My DD turned 5 on 2/22. She got a call from Cinderella. We had it on speaker phone.

She was so excited. After the call she ran around to every person at her party asking if they heard Cinderella.

She was thrilled to death.

She'll get another call the morning of May 2. That's the day we leave for WDW!

That is so cool! I'm going to order a call on the morning of our vacation for my DD9 and for my two brothers-in-law who are coming with us!
Thanks for the wonderful info on this site!!!!

I had no idea thi s existed! How cool! I may send "encouragement" my my DD i college as final exams approach! What a hoot! And when DS5 learns to tie his shoes. I love this!

If the call is for your kid, do you just know what time the call is coming in and have the kid answer, or do you have time to answer and then tell DD the call is for her?

I did this for my niece for her 3rd birthday! SHe loves AURORA!! So to see her face.....OMG....PRECIOUS! princess:

bjscheel....you pick the time of the call. We made sure it was on our caller ID too. The phone number will come up. All the rules are on the web page...it is very simple & worth it! :wizard: Have your child answer...we did it on speaker phone so we could hear as well & see my nieces face.

Thank you thank you for this link. I think having Mickey call them the morning we leave to begin our drive to WDW would be a great way to wake up.

Every time I think I know everything there is to know about Disney, I learn something new on these boards! Thank you so much! I have it on good authority that Cinderella will be calling my DD to wish her a happy birthday in a couple of weeks. I also suspect that Belle will be calling all of my DDs at the end of May right before we leave for DW to wish them a safe trip. Thanks again! princess:

According to their website http://www.disneyenchantedcalls.com/ $2.49 a call. There may be tax or something though. Anyone remember? :listen:

PS- ("This is what the alphabet would look like if Q and R were removed." - Mitch Hedberg) Still hoping for someone who can paraphrase Mickey's Good Morning > Trip call...

I did this the other day for my little boy (he's 3). Mickey called him to tell him good night and he was so excited! It was hard to keep him from trying to talk back to Mickey so he could hear what he said. As others have said it is about $2.50 and they ask for a credit/debit card. I was hoping you could be specific about what they call you about for the encouragement call (as in we are tryiiiiinnnnggg to get our son to start going #2 on the potty) but you can't so I went with having Mickey call to tell him good night but before he called I planted the idea in my son's head that that was why Mickey was calling him to tell him "You can do it!" He was excited about that. Of course if you don't have kids, you probably wouldn't understand this issue. Anyways the idea another poster had about calling the morning of the trip to wake their child up is a great idea, we'll have to do that for October trip.

Take care!

:rotfl: I completely *understand* the issue! I have a 4-year old that has motor skill issues and well that of course translated into potty training issues. We have *just* gotten to the point that he uses a regular toilet now - WHEW! I was having nightmares about this vacation with that issue. His favorite character is Buzz and I have been using Buzz for a long time as incentive. First to get into the underwear in the first place, then to stop having poop accidents and then onto the regular toilet from the baby potty seat. I can *only* imagine what he is going to say to Buzz when he meets him. ROFL!!!!!! Since he have told him Buzz is so proud of him that he is a big boy now, etc.... They don't have Buzz for calls or I would definitely be using it if I could!!!

I know I'm planning on having some calls done right before we leave. Since we are leaving at probably 3 or 4 AM, I'm not going to have them call then but the night before the kids go to bed. I just haven't decided if I should have each child have a special call OR just put it on speakerphone. It would be cheaper speakerphone but might be fun to have 3 different characters call 1 for each of the children. I have time to decide that though.
