Disneys Dream House at Innovations?

When I was searching smart kitchens on youtube I saw that at Disneyland they have a whole smart house. I was wondering if anyone had a really good video of this house or knew where I could find one. I would love to show this to my interior design class tomorrow!!

I didn't take any pictures, because, frankly, it looked like the house of today, not tomorrow. Just a whole bunch of LCD/plasma TVs and computers. The only thing that impressed me was this sort of liquid crystal display monitor in a dining room table that you could change by touching it...and then I thought "wow that is useless" and walked on. It just wasn't very impressive to me, as there are people with seriously hooked up, wired, houses almost like it, already.

 

[Disney Dreams]

There's actually some very cool stuff in there. It's a "Dream Home" of today, not a house of the future (which used to be at Disneyland). The concept is that everything in there is actually possible for you to own (if money were no object), but for most people, lots of what's in there is a "dream."

There's a very cool piano that plays based on what's programmed into the computer sitting next to it, there's a fun magic mirror, there's a really special storytelling of Peter Pan in the son's bedroom which is very high-tech and interactive, the kitchen is a lot of fun if you get one of the people wearing a yellow jersey to show you around, and we love playing at the Microsoft surface tables for a little break in the day.
