My husband and I did this may years ago (2006?). At that time you were given a tour of the facility and there was a discussion about the dolphins. You watched a live demo of the dolphins retrieving rings and things on whistle command. We suited up and were taken to the dolphin tank. We did not swim with the dolphins. We stood on a platform in the water and a dolphin swam up to us. We "held" the dolphin while a picture was taken. It may have changed since we were there. We loved the experience but I agree it would have been nice to swim with them.
