You’re gonna be fine. Cars eat up time too- parking, trams, walking- buses will drop you closer and you get to drive in the bus lanes to the parks. Buses aren’t as efficient as cars but they also aren’t the worst thing ever. It feels long when you’re standing there for 10-20 mins waiting for a bus because you aren’t doing anything. I would not miss early mornings or stay super late in the parks in order not to wait for a bus. During busy times they even run more buses.Just to piggy back on this bus conversation... I am heavily considering a stay at CSR next May. We usually have a car, but do to unforeseen circumstances we have a much tighter budget for this trip, so I'm considering dropping the rental car and being at the mercy of Disney transportation. I'm a little nervous about the bus service. Is it crazy busy? Say we wait for more off times such as later in the morning, or wait until well after nighttime shows, is it less of a hassle? I've heard so many nightmare stories about bus service that I have a lot of reservations about using it but would LOVE to cut out the cost of the car rental.
ETA: If you’ve had it one day just grab a rideshare. For like $10-$15 you can get to or from any park.
