We arrive tomorrow and got a call from a cast member this morning letting us know we were being upgraded to main tower club level room! We’ve never stayed club level before and I’m super excited!!
So what was your original booking? Sounds like there was an issue and they handled your situation with a great upgrade. Did you maybe have a BLT reservation where you would have food available in your room? That would explain the upgrade to a CL offering.

Yes, we had a theme park view studio at BLT.

Here are 2 club levels at CR. Both in the tower. 12th floor is called Atrium CL. 14th floor is called Tower Cl. The 14th floor is mostly suites.

Cl at CR is so convenient. The elevator and lounge is in the center so really it’s quick and easy to access the lounge. Coming back from the pool or parks? The lounge is right there!

Come back to ask any q’s might have. I say that because you hadn’t planned for it so might not have had time for research.

Safe travels and enjoy your upgrade! Our 1st cl experience was also at CR with a magical upgrade.

So excited, we are staying in the main tower water view for our first time later this month! Anyone know if they still provide the small tubes/bottles of H2O+ products? Or is it only wall mounted products now. Thanks!

The only things that are wall-mounted are the shampoo, conditioner and body wash. There is still regular soap, mouth wash, lotion, shower cap, etc. in individual sizes.

That is fantastic! I had the same thing happen to me a few weeks ago. Stayed 5 nights at the Yacht Club and keep checking the WDW website for the summer discounts at the Contemporary. Two nights at the end of my stay at the YC finally popped up for Tower Magic Kingdom view. Upon check-in, I was told my room was not ready but she could take me up to the 12th floor! Quite a surprise for me and such a nice treat!

That’s great, thank you! Do you know if they are still H2O+ products currently?

Small technicality, the H2O brand itself was discontinued but Disney acquired the formula / continues to offer the same products. And felt the need to apply tens of thousands of little stickers across property to cover up the logo. 😂

Ah, you’re right. I completely forgot about those little stickers! 😆 I forget if the indivisible bottles say H2O

I'm sure this has been asked many times but did a couple cursory searches and with 506 pages on this thread, I figured it could take me days to find it if it exists :-) ... so, my question is regarding Bay Lake Tower, the monorail, and getting from Epcot. I'm clear that if going to Epcot from BLT, we:
Walk to Contemporary Resort to hop on the Resort monorail, get off at the next stop which is the TTC, and transfer to the Epcot monorail.

My question is about getting back from Epcot. Should we do the same in reverse (only now from TTC back to CR we sit through the stops at Poly, GF, MK, and then finally to CR), OR, would it be faster to transfer to the Express instead of the resort monorail coming back, get off at MK and walk back to BLT? We have to make the transfer at TTC either way, just curious if we should do Resort MR with all the extra stops or just get on the Express and then walk.

For some reason, the ride back seems like forever. I vowed after our last stay at BLT that I would drive to Epcot. We stayed for EMH and the monorail was packed. Then it was busy at the TTC also. MK crowd was leaving. If the resort monorail doesn’t look any more crowded than the TTC/Park monorail, I would take the resort monorail. But it I’m old and exhausted by that point 😂.

Other option is exit out the back and catch a bus to MK from BC or BW.

We always end up in World Showcase after fireworks, one of my favorite things is to leave through international gateway and get a Minnie Van at BC. We did it once back to the Garden Wing and got dropped off steps from our room, felt like we were royalty avoiding the massive crowds at the front of the park, monorail and TTC. Well worth the $.

Or split stay between Contemporary and BC to make it the shortest possible trip back to room after Epcot nights.

I know that you can use gift cards to pay off room charges. Can the same be done with the Disney Visa rewards redemption card?
