Does the electrical water pageant pass through the boat canal? If so does it stop so that it can be viewed from the garden wing rooms that face that way?
it stops kind of right in front of the marina and beach area. It comes pretty close to the shore of the CR so you can’t miss. You can see (and hear it) well from any lake view room in the tower and probably see it pretty well from most garden view rooms on that side. You’d certainly have a front row seat you came outside and sat on the beach or pool area.Does the electrical water pageant pass through the boat canal? Atrium is 12th floor and all are rooms. You can see down to the atrium as well. What is the difference between atrium and standard club? Location?
I just saw both standard and king pop up for our june visit. I grabbed the king. Hope my sister will go for grabbing the standard! I’d love to do that instead of the hosp suiteAtrium is 12th floor and all are rooms. You can see down to the atrium as well.
Tower CL is on the 14th floor. When wdw changed booking options they did it in a confusing way. Std king and std queen are in the Tower Cl. Most up there are suites a few king and queen rooms able to connect to those if needed. The balconies are deeper and you can not see the atrium below.
The lounge is generally quiet on 14th floor. The food is the same except they have sushi in the Tower CL.
If you scroll back there are pix of both lounges,
@2vets was just at Tower and I was at Atrium .
Glad you were able to grab that. Hope you’re both able to get rooms together on the Tower Club.I just saw both standard and king pop up for our june visit. I grabbed the king. Hope my sister will go for grabbing the standard! I’d love to do that instead of the hosp suite.
We did!! Woohoo!Glad you were able to grab that. Hope you’re both able to get rooms together on the Tower Club.
I had it on my bucket list for ages and got to try if May 2022 and March 2023. Hands down my favorite part is the large balcony. You feel like you are on top of the world!! Its so open and spacious! Also arrival and departure days the lounge has 2 of the balconies to hang out on as well.Great info from all! We will be in the Tower Club late June!
I would stay at the Contemporary Resort back in the 90's with my family and I would also love for some older pictures of the rooms and around the resort.I stayed on the 10th floor Lake View back in 1996 with my mom.
Does anyone have photos of how the rooms looked like back then? I was hoping to find something in my albums but I don't remember if we had taken any pictures of the room...
I think I know which one you mean & I couldn’t find it either. There used to be an old CR fan site with old pictures but I can’t find it. Rats
I hope you have a fabulous trip! I don't think it would hurt to try--call MS and ask to put in a room request for the highest floor in your booking category. We just returned from a week long stay in a one bedroom Theme park view at BLT. I called MS before we left and asked for the highest floor. Once we arrived, I gently checked in at concierge and while my room was not yet ready, they said my request should be honored. Once the room was ready (around 3pm), it was the 12th floor and perfect! I think if you are willing to wait it out (and not ask for first room available upon check in) you might have a better chance of a higher floor. Good luck, enjoy and best wishes to your family!!I just booked a last minute trip for this weekend at BLT with DVC points. My daughter is graduating high school next weekend and instead of having a party she said she wanted to take a trip instead, just the two of us. So I checked the DVC website and it just so happened a standard view Studio was available for Thursday-Sunday, just like it was meant to be. I was glad because I didn’t want to book at SSR, but I would have if it’s all that was available. I wonder with such short notice does it pay to make a room request or is it too late now being only 2 days until check in? We like to have a MK view on the highest standard view floor. In the end, I suppose it doesn’t matter too much because we will just be happy to be there.![]()
I called this morning and put in a request. We are only in a standard studio so I know there aren't very many of them in inventory and none on a high floor per say, but I did ask for the highest floor in my booking category facing toward the MK. We won't check in until midnight tomorrow night since we had to take the very last flight out. They have always been good to me with room requests in the past so I will just hope for the best tomorrow night. Either way I am going to be super happy to be back at WDW !I hope you have a fabulous trip!
