Silly question, but where will we be checking in now?

I don’t know the answer to your question, but from the looks of things (curtains and not a real construction wall) it looks to me like whatever they are doing will be relatively quick. How quick, TBD of course.

I don’t have specific info on the lobby area but I do know some fit/finish items like countertops and cabinetry in other parts of the resort were delayed and did not get installed in time for reopening/the 50th. For example, the CL 12th floor lounge was recently closed for a short stint while they came back and updated some things that finally arrived. Not sure if the lobby is similar circumstances, but wouldn’t surprise me if so.

This channel sadly appears to have been gone for years - at least my family hasn't been able to find it and we miss it terribly! We're not fans of the newer animation styles that currently play Each trip we scan the channels however and hope it's returned!!

I love the Malaysian cartoon. You really don’t like it!!! And Bangladesh. It’s adorable. I think they’re some of the best they’ve made in years.

Probably a silly question but here goes. We're doing online check in for our DVC stay next week but DW wants to check in at a desk so she can get her birthday button. Is check in for Bay Lake Tower there or at the original Contemporary building? Thanks!

Not sure of the answer, BUT... You can still go to the desk even if you do online check-in. Indeed sometimes you still have to! They are not exclusive of each other.

Just did my online check-in for the tower in May...I was surprised there were no spots for requests, nothing about housekeeping, floors, etc...isn't there usually a couple drop down menus for requests? I do have a TP request going out so I'm not concerned but I would like upper floor away from elevators and would like to have at least been able to indicate upper floor.

FYI, Bay Lake Tower has its own check-in desks.

We did online check in for our BLT DVC stay last December and check in day was DHs actual birthday so we swung by the BLT front desk on our way to the park to ask for a button. Easy peasy.

Are floats allowed in the BLT pool? We've used large rafts in Swan/Dolphin pool in past years that have been great fun, but don't want to bring them along if they're prohibited

What refurbishment is Bay Lake Tower undergoing? Is it a huge inconvenience to stay there with a baby that takes a nap in the middle of the day? Also planned some pool time.

The only thing under construction is the splash pad by the pool.


The Contemporary has work going on on the Garden Wing, but that's far from BLT.
