Quick question - how is the room service? Is the food decent? The menu looks good but I can't find hardly any reviews.

We are staying at BLT for the first time soon and room service is my guilty pleasure. The Wave is one of our fave breakfast spots but on mornings when DH is golfing, I'd prefer to dine in my PJ's instead if the food is tasty :)

Thanks!

Are there other locations besides Contempo Cafe to refill resort mugs?
I am just thinking if out at swimming pool, not sure I'd want to wander into the main concourse in swim shorts.
Any advice would be welcome :)

I think it's pretty good overall. I think it's the same pizza delivery as every other resort, but the actual items they cook on-site are all great, and the food always shows up hot. The room service runs late too which can be a god send on those late nights at the parks.

There were refills available at both CR and blt pools for my stays.

The room service food is made by the hotels restaurants so good:thumbsup2

Over the years I have tried the mono resorts and never regretted it.

Sounds like a great idea!

As simplistic as it sounds tweet his name and a brief message/location to @wdwtoday with #castmembercompliment
It's easy and they'll usually acknowledge you with picture of the CM getting kudos, and it does go in their file.
Yup, I've done that before for other CMs - wasn't sure if there was a better way for folks at the resorts. I'll go ahead and tweet away. Thanks!!

Anyone staying at the Contemporary now hearing anything about Brunch being discontinued? It’s been removed as a booking option and isn’t available this week or out into December. I sure hope this is just a glitch!

After a 5:15 am flight, we are here! Our room isn’t ready, but we were told that we have a partial Magic Kingdom view!! I’m so excited, and it’s beautiful!!:flower1::wave:

You are (quite literally) in my favorite place on the entire planet. LOVE the Contemporary theme-park view rooms.

I hope you have a great time.

Same here. I don’t see if for November 25. When ADRs opened up for me, there wasn’t any available but I assumed it was just booked up. But now it doesn’t even show as an option.

We just got home from our first stay at BLT (or the Contemporary). We have stayed at GF and WL...but Beach Club has always been our favorite. I wasn't sure what to expect from BLT, but we LOVED it. The more modern atmosphere was perfect for our 19 and 13 year old, but still had tons of Disney Magic with being so close to Space Mountain and Cinderella's Castle. One of the main reasons we love BC is being able to walk to Epcot....we can say the same for BLT...The 10 minute walk to MK was wonderful. Thank you for all the advice on this thread. We had a magical vacation and would definitely love to go back to BLT (the two bathrooms in the one bedroom was wonderful too)!!

We also just got home from our first (short) two night stay at BLT and it has my husband pushing to buy points there now. We'll probably always consider the Poly home but we did really enjoy our two nights at BLT. Sitting out on the balcony that close to all the action was amazing and the short walk into MK was a lot nicer than I expected it to be.

BLT question, sorry if I sound daft.

Are linens provided for the sofa bed and chair bed in a two-bedroom? Just want to make sure. :thumbsup2
