Resort Disney's Club Level (CL) Thread

I'm breaking my Value resort streak and going to CS CL on Sunday. I will let you know what I think.

Also @2vets my AC just broke.
Bleah!! Hope it isn’t too awful a fix. On an up note, better that it breaks now than in August, I guess?? Enjoy CS!!

Eta: nvr mind, just saw your update. Gah. Just - gah. Home expenses are the worst.

And they had to come back on SATURDAY! But now we're rockin' and rollin'.

And I just snagged the king CL room at CR for my August sisters trip on BB (whoot, twice in one year!), still holding GF RPC just in case but will likely transfer the $ to the current room. I love GF but there's always the concern my sister will try to crash in my room, which drops precipitously now - in addition to saving me a ton of cash. Love my sister, but I wanted to murder her last August -- when we shared a suite! Also prefer CR in August in general due to closer proximity to MK in ridiculous weather.
I had the opportunity to change from our poly/gf cl split next week to the Cr king tower CL room.

Why didn't I? A baby changes everything! That king room doesn't have a sofa or reading chair like every other room on property. What can a 1 yr old climb on?

Shes too little to look that far away yet,so Cr views wouldn't really work. Poly cl she should see the EWP fine. :flower1:

There is not even a dresser in the king room. Just a tv stand. Babies have a lot of stuff.

Then you look at the poly rooms with lots of storage and furniture.
Oh i got the deluxe at GF so lots of space for baby.

Sometimes saving money isn't worth it. This trip I paid for what I needed. ::yes::

Last that hideous table and single chair in the king room is so plain , it makes me cringe to look at it.o_O

However I know you love that room so enjoy! :cloud9:

I think compared to GF and Poly, CR really missed the opportunity to include enough storage. The closets are good, but they are really missing some dressers or drawers.

In the words of Shania Twain, I gah darn gone & done it. We're staying GF RPC our first night! Resort view was all that was available & then we'll check into our resort view non cl room for the rest of the week. I'm so excited!!

Don’t forget you get access to the lounge until midnight on your check out day. So you get 2 days to enjoy all the perks. :goodvibes

Try to get a room key. I was told if I used my mb or APPon phone on room 1 then use a key card for room 2 on transfer day. That way you still get access without having to ask for help. That worked last month, a trip in 2025 and 2024.

After you are done accessing a CL the day/s after you can use all: mb, APP and key card with no issues.

Had a wedding in Philadelphia on Friday, we stayed at The Ritz Carlton. For $400 a night we got water stocked in the room, turndown with trash and towel service and chocolates etc. Also room service was available. There were coffee urns in the lobby in the morning as well. The lobby was a lovely lounge area with seating and a menu for drinks and snacks all day, it really was nicer than the Disney resorts for a fraction of the cost.

However when I saw this? Oh ya now that’s a fun addition to a hotels lobby! 🍾

Come on Disney , it’s time to return these services!

Quick question, and apologies as I'm sure this was answered many times here, but I am not scouring thousands of pages of this thread. Do you get access to CL on day of check-in before 4pm or before your room is ready?

Reason I ask is because we're looking at staying in a non-CL room, then transferring over to CL. So would we get access to breakfast, etc. on day of check-in?

Yes, you will have CL access when you check in even if your room isn't ready. You will need to store any luggage with bell services until your room is ready, but access to CL is immediate as soon as you check in.

Yes, that’s a strategy used by many people who arrive late the night before. Stay in a less expensive room, even a less expensive resort, then head to the CL early morning to check in & have breakfast.

So, if I’m reading this correctly, you are staying in the same hotel, and just switching room categories? If so, they may make you check out of your first room before they give you access to CL. See the front desk in the morning.

Just booked GF Deluxe CL room for August. Have stayed RPC in the past but not in a deluxe room. Wondering how many deluxe CL rooms there are and where they are located. TIA :flower3:

Oh, to be clear - I don’t love the room. But I do love the balcony, the lounge on 14, and the fact that it’s much cheaper than RPC - GF rooms are far and away my favorite. Also, I stay there as a solo, so it’s workable, and the non-CL rooms at CR are cheaper and all under one roof for DSis, the one roof aspect being critical in August. For us. Of course, I also can’t stand Poly. Everyone’s situation is unique.
