It’s like we’re the same person sometimesBut I know myself - if this were me, at booking I’d sit here and think I’m making the “smart decision” by saving a few bucks with the Hospitality Suite, but then I’d get there, get in the room, be annoyed I’m not in the Tower, and be questioning why I was so concerned with a few hundred bucks, which is pretty tiny in the relative grand scheme of a typical WDW stay (generally speaking).

Definitely a great deal! Was surprised to find it just after thanksgivingYou had me at 35%. CR Tower at that kind of a discount is a no brainer, in my humble opinion. I'm not good at BBs and am usually booking late with limited to no discounts, so I'm very jealous!
Oh fun! Haven't stayed at all clubs yet, but I've been keeping a ranking list for when I finally get them all. So far the rankings for me are:Just for fun (I'm sure this has been done before, but I haven't seen it in some time) what are your CL rankings based on all the CL experiences you've had to date? Second, what are your overall resort rankings not focusing on CL? For me:
Overall CL experience:
1. GF RPC
2. Poly
3. YC
4. Grand Californian
5. BWI
Resort rankings (irrespective of CL)
1. GF
2. Grand Californian
3. Poly
4. YC
5. BWI
6. CR
7. Swan Reserve
I know a lot of people don’t love poly CL but we loved every minute of it! The food is better at GF but walking into the Hawaii building in the summer with that amazing scent is nostalgic for me!!!Oh fun! Haven't stayed at all clubs yet, but I've been keeping a ranking list for when I finally get them all. So far the rankings for me are:
CL:
1. Contemporary
2. BWI
3. Tie between WL and AKL
4. BC
5. GDT (CSR)
Resort rankings:
1. YC
2. BWI
3. BC
4. WL
5. Contemporary
6. AKL
7. GF
8. Poly
9. GDT
Will knock off GF CL in a few months, and Poly CL next September. Still trying to find a discounted YC CL room, that is the only one I can never find a discount at!
The ones on the 2nd floor do but I’ve heard they are kind of a trek to and from the lounge. There are also the turret king rooms that don’t have a balcony but gorgeous windows throughoutI was told that all the Deluxe King rooms have a direct theme park view. We had a great view -- right above
Gasparilla's.

A “trek” to the lounge is exactly the type of information I’m looking for. Thank you!The ones on the 2nd floor do but I’ve heard they are kind of a trek to and from the lounge. There are also the turret king rooms that don’t have a balcony but gorgeous windows throughout
It’s confusing. Usually when you book a deluxe king you get put on the 2nd floor. Yes it is a TPV but it requires taking an elevator to get to the lounge, it is the same size room, as the others. I have stayed in the TPV rooms on floors 3 and 4 for comparison,The description when booking says “Views of Magic Kingdom Park or Resort Grounds”.
I’m more trying to figure out if there’s a negative aspect to the Deluxe King since it’s larger than a standard room but not priced much higher comparatively (1650 vs 1560).
I’ve done deluxe king 5 or 6 times and only got the turret once.

Are you saying that the turret/no balcony rooms are a type of Deluxe King? I wouldn’t want to be without a balcony.

However they also have 6 deluxe kings that are the turret shaped. Those do not have a balcony but are a larger room. They tend to use these for special upgrades or if someone is celebrating. I’ve done deluxe king 5 or 6 times and only got the turret once.
If you prefer one request it but it’s harder to get the turrets.
I would recommend booking resort view. There really are no bad views, the rooms are stunning, and at worst, you will have to take the stairs up or down a floor to the lounge. And you are guaranteed a balcony. Enjoy!A “trek” to the lounge is exactly the type of information I’m looking for. Thank you!
